I started a little thing on that website about the abuse, etc, but for them to really start getting on that, they need votes.
So, everyone, go there, give your comment, vote for it, and hopefully this could break the news while we're still all worked up over the Iraqi abuse scandal.

OK, I'll play; but what is this? I didn't see a way to Vote on anything - just apparently a button to leave a comment? Is that what you want? Lots of comments?
And what is this board?
-
Its to go to the media directly, basically.
Click on "me too" to 'vote' for it. Its a big red button
The other one lets you leave comments, if you like.
If enough people show interest the moderators there will take this to some sort of media outlet.
-
GUESS WHAT - THERE'S SOMETHING CALLED "LETTERS TO THE EDITOR" - WHY NOT WRITE LETTERS TO THE EDITORS OF ALL OF THE MAJOR NEWPAPERS IN YOUR AREA.
-
I've been working on it...

Chris,
nice link reference.
I VOTE YES!!
Gina
-
So far 25 have voted that the media needs to take a look at this -
Anyone who thinks this subject needs more coverage, and hasn't voted - go vote - only takes a second.
Niles - you might want to post the link on a few other boards.
-
Its "Nihil" or Chris.
Niles has nothing to do with my real name or alias.
And I have, of course
-
I went and voted. It's time for these torture homes for children to STOP!!!!!

Sorry 'bout the Niles bit.
I just happen to think "Niles" when I look at your handle; but I'll stop; I promise.
Did you get the letter from the site talking about how your question had hit the top ten overnight?
I was pleased. I hope that gets it some attention.
I also noticed mention of a question on PTSD with regrad to service in Iraq.
This too, could be a spring board into the issue of abusive teen programs; as PTSD is extreamly common; in fact; so much so; I'd go so far as to say it is present to some degree in every student.
Wnat to add this issue somehow to the question?
Maybe make a comment on the link to the PTSD Iraqi question?
