How many of u were put in restraints for no reason?
How many of u were put in restraints until a couple hours after ur arms and legs were numb?
I was Hog Tied my first night there because i was in da corner, cause i did not want to go to school and didnt want to stay in my chair. I wasnt running or being a problem i just didnt know what was going on. So they called in five or six guys to hold me down and tie me up. Iwas in restraints since the begining of school till right before the house went to bed. I could not feel my right thumb,half my palm, and my forearm for about 2 weeks.

They've threatened to restrain me,I had Tat tackle me down in the floor because I wouldn't get off the confy spinning chair. The shit was funny man, I called "chief"on her and she said "void". However when the staff got there, they like felt sorry for me so and they just talked me into sitting on the normal chair. I guess I wasn't really out of control, I was just really bored.
I remember I had to help restrain Jen. She's just punched Beth and she was like "acting out". We were trying to be careful not to hurt her, then she bit Stefanie Valentine. Jen, do you remember that?
I guess they were more severe on the man when it came down to violence, but I've seen rings with women before.

Elan did not permit a person to be in restraints for more then an hour. I guess they broke the poilicy during your time.

Elan made a big deal about someone being in restaints more then an hour. It was against the law in Maine I believe.
They would let people out after an hour no matter what. Elan would say " We are gonna see if you can conduct yourself in a humane manner now"
If all else fails they wouold put them back in restraints.

It would take an hour just to get your SP to bring it up. Well in 8 anyways.

It'd take about an hour or so for ANY bring-ups, even in the dinning room. I remember asking to go to the bathroom like just to get permission for later, since I knew it would take so long.
When a corner person had a bring-up, sometimes they'd say NO, even if it was a simple bathroom bring-up. If Pete's the staff in charge, forget about bring-ups, just make sure you don't drink much water.

See in 8 when i was in the corner i loved every minute of it because i was like my vacation. One time just for the fuck of it I would only speak spanish iwas in the corner for like month maybe a month and a half. As for the bathroom thing if i was in the corner and i had to piss and they weren't answering i would have pissed on my SP but thats just me
One time there was this kid who jerked off and came on his SP. Thats NAS to the fucking TY!!!

I remember one time at e-8 they had to restrain this girl Emmie this big black girl, they did it in the SC and you could hear it in the dining room. Anyways, it took around three guys and two big staff members, Drew H. and Chris forgot his last name but he was really big, and they still were in there for like 25 min.
That day was like WWf day there. I know the staff were feelig weak. ::rocker::

I was one of those kids who had to restrain Emmie. It's funny, because last I heard, she was successful as hell and working for the government after going to Georgetown.
I always liked Emmie. I hope she's doing well.

I was never restrained, because I never was in the corner, but I restained people like everyother day. They had me and Greg Cosgrove on SP's after being there for 4 months (3 for Greg), I wonder if I can list restraining as a special skill on my resume?

they had you in restraints for 3 straight days? they cant do that! It was suppose to be 15 minutes at most.

The kids i restrained remained in them until they were deemed safe to be removed, which never took to long, I imagine the restraints hurt. Anyways, I actually did get a job offer as an orderly at a local mental health place b/c of my experience with restraints. Didnt take it. I could never go back to some crazy eniroment like that. I'd much rather beat the shit out of that jordan faggot anyways. :lol:

Yes 3 DAYS. Shit were talking about Elan here. In my day we couldnt call mommy and daddy. No phone calls. No letter writting, no visits. Elan did what ever they wanted to us and there still doing it just not as bad .

I spent 5 months in the corner and I do not hold the record! They would leave me in restraints all day sometimes, just come by to check my circulation,and that was only if someone nice was working or if my P.O.(S.P. now)said something.
One time Joanne Ginn Put on my restraints so tight that both of my arms turned blue within 5 munites and I was stuck in a dorm at the bottom of the hill it was hours 3 or 4 before she came to relieve my pain. I still have shoulder problems from that one incident. I have x-rays to prove how the tissue was ripped.The x-rays show how old it is too. I was laying face down on the floor in a pile of my own tears and snot while my P.O. could do nothing but make smart ass remarks.
I thought the pain would never end but it did I went numb eventually. Fuck Elan and the sick People who run it! When I was there it seemed the Directors where more compassionate than my peers save a few like Joanne Ginn and Anne Flynn!There go the people. I must follow them for I am their leader.
