tenative, shaky plans for a gethering can be found at meetup.com. Just type in "straight" in the search box. a suggestion for a nearby park might be helpful--someplace we can smoke...please note the description of straight--hopefully, that should discourage all the lovers of newton etal to stay away...
meetups last as long as we want, and can be reschuduled if absolutely necessary...

OK humor me people I looked at that meetup.com site. My question is how can you sign up to go where other people will be? From what I saw you could sign up for various locations around the US. So how do I know if others locally have or will sign up?

narrow the search to tampa.it should list a few places--barnes and noble, cafe something, and a chioce for no preference
