I am a 40 year old woman who has on numerous occasions had sex with ghosts. This is not a joke!
They always occur early in the morning, sometimes with my husband is sleeping beside me but usually I'm alone. I am aware of being somewhere between asleep and awake. (Though they have also visited me on occasion in my dreams.) I know where I am, what day it is, and that I am in a state of conciousness that will certainly mean a visit. They alway enter through a door, and they always announce their presence in some fashion.
The ghost that visits me now lets me know he's here by rotating my limbs and sometimes my whole body around the bed. Then he touches me and makes love to me in one form or another. Sometimes there are more that one. Sometimes they are gentle and sweet and other times they get a little rough. I almost alway have an orgasm, but if they do something that scares me, they leave right away.
For awhile I was being visited by a ghost who would announce his presence by sliding his hand around the bed. I could hear it and feel the pressure on the mattress. Then I would be aware of an intense heat going up my legs to my abdomen. The orgasm would be so intense and so complete, I would still be pulsating as I come to fully awake. One time I opened my eyes when I felt the heat going up my legs, and I saw a black fog hovering in the middle of my bedroom. This scared the hell out of me. It disturbed me, so I got on the internet and read about Incubus. I told my husband about it and we researched it together. He is very supporting though admitted that he was not happy about sharing me with Incubus or anyone else. I decided to take a stand the next time this partucular ghost visited me. It was a bit of a struggle (he was a powerful force.) Then a couple nights later, he came to me in my dream and we had a battle of sorts. I recall looking at him determined not to let him scare me and a forceful wind was blowing through the room. However, I have not been visited by that ghost again. It gave me a sense of control.
The ghosts that visits me now is not as powerful. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I have to say I miss the intensity of this ghost.
I know many people will read this with disbelief, but I hope some people will recognize my story for what it is. Or maybe someone has some insight as to what this means.

Sounds very like sleep paralysis to me.

Does sex with ghosts count as necrophilia?

Sleep paralysis is such a nice scientific term. Whatever you want to call it, it doesn't change it.

Check it out. You might be surprised.

Ihave studied sleep paralysis, but it does not describe what i'm experiencing. For one, I am not paralysed, and I am able to come out of it at my will.
I believe there is a balance that needs to be met between science and the unknowable. I am not a religious person, i do believe in evolution, but I also believe in God. I believe in medical science; I also believe in holistic medicine. Most of all, i believe that there are many things in this world that cannot be explained because we are ONLY human.
I read a lot of your posts, Ginger, and I admire your openess and appreciate your contributions. I would like to know where you stand on Metaphysics.

To me it means I have a 22 year old daughter who lives on Mars. No joke either.

please contact me at psychologist123@yahoo.com with more details. I hope we can prove something different to the world and let them know about it. I believe u r sincere about this

Why thank you. Well, I guess the term "unknowable" pretty well sums it up. There are things in this world you just can't explain. People tend to come up with some kind of way to explain things that happen. But, often enough, we're just guessing.
When people say they believe in God, what does that mean? To some, it means they litterally think there's a Metaphysical voice speaking to them in sign and in their dreams and they will kill or die on command of that voice. To others, it just means there's some force in the universe that's beyond our ken and reckoning. I sort of fall into the latter category.
There lives more faith, in honest doubt,
Believe me, than in half the creeds.

No necrophilia is sex with corpses

At least you are getting orgasms..
I wouldnt mind a femme spirit coming to see me every now and again....
And no...Im not joking..
-
It is the ultimate safe sex! My feeling is that I'm lucky to have such a great outlet for my sexual energy. I'm trusting, however, that these ghost won't hurt me!
-
Does your husband get jealous?
And is the ghost a better lay?
-
Fortunately, my husband is very secure, and our sex life is fabulous. When i have talked to him about it, he admits that he doesn't want to share me with a ghost or anyone else. I don't talk to him when I have the experiences any more to spare him.
As far as a comparison, my husband has the advantage becaue of the emotional aspect as well as the duration. Sex with a ghost is an usually instantaneous orgasm. Sometimes the ghost barely touches me and I'm there. Plus, having sex with someone unknown to you lacks that special something, if you know what I mean.
-
Yes, I recognize your story for what it is. You are giving a textbook description of hypnogogia. Common term, "sleep paralysis."
This is not uncommon - it's a matter of missed timing by the brain when initiating sleep. Typically, people feel a presence and physical sensations, but are not able to move. They have semi-awareness of the room they are in, but interpret it as awareness. Also, They typically feel a presence, typically a frightening one, but not always.
It is also not uncommon for people to experience orgasm in some stages of sleep. Orgasm can occur during hypnogogic states.
These sleep experiences are often interpreted as evidence of space alien abduction or ghost experiences. In past European and American culture, they were interpreted as demons - the incubi.
Your experience is wholly from your own brain. To interpret any differently only leaves you susceptible to more such experiences. The orgasm is nice, but it is better to recognize it for what it is. Nothing wrong with having an orgasm by yourself - millions of people do that every day!
Stating that you have sex with ghosts is nothing to brag about. It makes you look psychotic. Do you really want people to think that of you? Wouldn't you rather people be impressed with your intelligence and knowledge? Reality is much more exciting than silly ghost stories!

The Hypnagogic Hallucinations are fairly easy to diagnose (and transparent enough to establish a diagnosis in a situation like this). If anyone's going to take a stab at a psychiatric explanation, there's probably a co-morbid condition that's perpetuating this woman's refusal to accept what's rational.
I smell a thought disorder, or a joke.

This presentation is a classic, text book, Hypnagogic and/or Hypnopompic dream state. They are states of consciousness that occur when the brain's timing in stages of sleep is a bit off.
In this state of consciousness, the person feels a presence, including physical sensations. Typically, it is interpreted as ominous, but sometimes the "presence" is welcomed. Orgasms do occur during sleep for many persons. The belief that the presence is a ghost, deamon, or space alien is cultural.

IF A GHOST OR SPIRIT WAS MAKING CONTACT WITH ME,WOULDN'T THAT MOST LIKELY OCCUR IN MY BRAIN? IN YOUR WORLD VIEW, I LOOK PSYCHOIC OR DISORDERED, BUT I'M NOT. I EXPLORED THE IDEA OF SLEEP PARALYIS, BUT IT DOESN'T FIT. SCIENCE CONTINUES TO DISREGARD ANY HUMAN EXPERIENCES THAT DON' FIT INTO ITS NARROW VIEW. JUST BECAUSE SCIENCE PUTS A LABEL ON SOMEHING DOESN'T MEAN THEY HAVE ALL THE ANSWERS.

I didn't see a post that labeled you psychotic or disordered. They are saying this is a classic, text book event that is a part of brain function in falling asleep. We've even been able to produce it in the laboratory. Sorry, it's text book - and not uncommon. You certainly have the right to think that ghosts are having sex with you if that's important to you. However, insisting on that belief rather than accepting that it is a common and well understood phenomenon looks - well - odd.

Are you related to Jack Clearman who is a former BCA therapist?

No, but I would LOVE to find him - he has to be a relative. My cousin did our genealogy and found that all Clearmans are related. It's a very unusual name. If anyone can find him for me I would love it!

I hate to point this out, but everything you experience is a product of your brain. Orgasms included. Even with external stimuli, humans in general wouldn't experience a whole lot without processing it first in their brains.

Do you care to hear a religious point of view?
I read a book that you would probably find very interesting. It's called 'He Came To Set The Captives Free' by a Dr. Rebecca Brown.
The book is really about witchcraft, but she deals with spirits and ghosts throughout the book. One portion discusses how powerful witches can astral project their spirits and I believe some of the experiences - be they sexual or violent - are things you may find similar to your current experience.
If I may suggest - you should stroll around various Christian bookstores. I don't know how much info you'll find with a topic like ghosts & spirits but I'll bet you'll find what you're looking for under witchcraft.
-
Witchcraft - another myth perpetuated by the ignorant. The woman is experiencing an altered dream state. No need to scare people here.

LeighBright has offered the book 'He Came to Set the Captives Free' to help you gain insight, not at all surrepiticiously promoting her obscure and conventially-rejected beliefs [/sarcasm]. Let's read a synopsis of this educational work of fiction from the publisher itself:
For 17 years Elaine served her master, Satan, with total commitment. Then she met Dr. Rebecca Brown, who served her master, Jesus Christ, with equal commitment. Elaine, one of the top witches in the U.S. clashed with Dr. Brown who stood against her alone. In the titanic life and death struggle that followed, Dr. Brown nearly lost her life. Elaine, finding a power and lover greater than anything Satan could give her, left Satan and totally committed her life to Jesus Christ.
Ms. Bright. So far everyone has offered rational and comforting explanations for this woman's experiences. The last thing she needs is to have her beliefs bolstered and redirected with this kind of extremist, fantasy garbage.
To use this woman's innocent misconceptions as a way to gain a new convert to your religion, and to do it by instilling fear, is disgusting and not at all Christian.
-
No worries on that count. I happen to be quite sane and know religious fantasy when I see it. My altered state is mine and mine to interpret. There is a world that is neither religious or science and that is the world I live in.
-
-
I'm sorry - this is idiotic. The woman is having a common, sleep-related experience. Don't scare her with this Medieval rubbish. I'm a Christian and am never arrogant nor pedantic enough to try to convert people. And Rebecca Brown is widely recognized by the intelligent Christian community as an idiot.

I can't help but wonder, if I had suggested a book written by a Muslim, or a Jew, or a Buddhist, or a Wiccan, or any other religion on earth - would I have received the same reaction and accusation of trying to "convert" someone to one of those religions too?
I suggested a book. I didn't hide the fact that it was a religious book that dealt with witchcraft - nor did I say it was an award-winning book - or even that I believed all of the statements about situations that were made within its pages. In fact, I didn't even state that I was a fan of, or had any personal knowledge of the author - other than she wrote this wacky book that also mentioned spirit-beings invading person's homes - and discussed a spirit being having sex with a female witch.
So I merely suggested a book - that I thought the poster might be interested in reading and researching as clearly - it is a related topic.
You know, Frederick Douglass once stated that one of the virtues of being well-educated is that through the process of learning, we obtain our liberty. But you ANON - you kind of remind me of the parents who wanted to burn Mark Twain's books. I wonder if you picked up this notion in the program?
Anyway - to steal from the gay-activist's in D.C. (and to work their little chant to my advantage) in order to express how I feel about your intolerance of my personal belief system:
I'M HERE! I'M CHRISTIAN! GET USED TO IT!
-
Why did you paraphrase the slogan of a demographic that's oppressed by people of your ilk? That's like the Grand Wizard of the KKK starting his speeches with "I have a dream..."
I was the first anon, but I agree with the second one on the point of this book being "Medieval rubbish." I won't even touch on the dynamics of Wicca or what astral projection entails, much less the reported (and obvious) limitations of both. The book is tremendously insulting to other faiths and your espousal of it is making you look crazy.
Don't pretend this is because you're Christian. It's because you're an extremist and you would be treated exactly the same if you were hawking the Kabbala or the Gyuto Tantra. Is religion the acceptable resource in some cases? Absolutely. But in this situation neurology has already filled in the blanks. Be here, be Christian, stop misleading people.

People of "my ilk"? Oh, okay. I see what's happening here. You have some pre-conceived notion of how Christians think and behave, so therefore, my stating a belief in Christianity somehow makes me all of these things in your head.
And why did I quote Queer Nation? Why shouldn't I? Are you saying that because I'm a Christian believer I'm not allowed to quote a gay activist organization? Is that one of your "all believers do this" rule?
Man! I think it's time you crow-barred that closed mind you have open and try seeing people for who they are - rather than judging them through your personal biases.

It's a common error of ignorant people to discredit a person on all counts based on point.
I don't know how to elevate people's critical thinking skills, but I wish someone would. It is tiring to listen to ingnorance at ad nauseum on this thread and others.
Europe, for one, is so far advanced in this area than are Americans. I fear that the EU will succeed at their plan to become the next economic super power based on this factor alone. Americans are grossly undereducated, especially in critical thinking.
Americans do have guns, however. Dumb Americans with guns. I don't know how noble that is, but it may be all we got.

Oh, come on... You were just asking for someone to say something about that! I think that's why you posted it as your rebuttal in the first place. You want to be able to blame people for not agreeing with you, or not seeing your point of view, on: "Because you're a Christian."

Well, whoever the last anon was thinks I'm quotable. Let's not stray from the issue. You presented a book that contains some obscure and extreme views, do you agree? And as my previously double-quoted statement asserts, it was the nature of those views rather than the source.
I'm going to be very ineloquent about this because I don't think it needs flowery language. Christianity is far from a terrible religion. It's merely that, a religion. There can be no doubt in anyone's mind that the humanitarian efforts of Christians the world over have improved the quality of life for countless people in developing nations. Moreover, the doctrine itself is famous for giving new hope to previously hopeless individuals.
It isn't your religion that was attacked for this book, because your religion (or the overwhelming majority of those who practise it) is not overtly concerned with "devilry" and other bogie-men that threaten its sanctity and that of those who follow it. This book is shit. Pure, fucking shit. But Christianity, the teachings of Jesus, and the Bible itself? For those they help, there can be no better.
-
Yes I do agree that the book does have what could be called extreme (or even radical) views. And despite all of this hassle over that suggestion - I did so because the topic reminded me of the book and vice-versa.
However, the topic, having sex with ghosts could also be called "obscure and extreme" too - which makes this back and forth all the more silly.
And I disagree when you say it wasn't my religion that was attacked. Everyone was treated with tolerance and respect for their suggestion, except of course, for me, who was specifically singled out on points of religion.
So whether you or I think the book is poo or not wasn't the point. It was to tell the poster about this book I read that reminded me of the topic and I left it up to the poster to decide whether they wanted to read the book or not.
-
You know, Anon - I've tried several times to respond and each time it turns into this long diatribe, so instead I will simply say this:
God is no respecter of persons. Sin is sin in God's eyes. This means that there is no level of misdemeanor or felony in God's kingdom because all sin is equal. Maybe you think a murderer is worse than a thief, or an adulterer, or especially someone who is impatient or unkind, but to God, they are all sinners! Sin is sin - no levels, no degrees - sin is sin to God!!
So you bring up Sodom and Gomorrah - but you know what I think of? The flood. Because sin is sin in God's eyes! Don't miss that point, Anon!
And last Anon, just for you - my absolute favorite Queer Nation quote:
"We're here! We're queer! We're NOT going skiing!"
-
This sex with ghosts chick is just a nut. Any undergraduate psychology student knows about this sleep condition. The fact that she rejects this tells me she's a nut. A normal person would say, "oh, so THAT'S what that is!"
-
If you believe everything that the so called experts tell you in college, you are on the very bottom of the food chain so to speak. Science has its place in human existence, but it is not the end all be all, and if you don't start questioning what science and educators tell you are absolutes, you will be left behind the next phase of humanity.
The lady may or may not be a nut, but you are ignorant to make such a statement about something you know nothing about. Making absolute statements about something from the very little information that was given here is not even adequate science. It is fear. People are fearful to accept that there are things in this world that cannot be explained away through the scientific method.
It's a new day people. Get on board or you will not survive what the world has coming for us.
-
As a diagnosed narcoleptic I experience Hypnogogic Hallucinations quite frequently and understand the scientific explanation for this phenomenon. Its good to know there are plenty of people who can diagnose it when they see it. For years I accepted that my hallucinations were just that, artificial stimuli triggered by my brain processes as a natural part of the sleep process. I still accept that, but as a spiritual person I also believe they are more than that. Spirituality and faith, regardless of the religion or beliefs, goes deeper and beyond scientific explanations. This women believes in spirits and she believes that they are visiting her. Explaining the phenomenon of sleep paralysis to her is one thing, but expecting her to give up her personal beliefs in place of taht explanation is simply the arrogance of you as individuals as well as the scientific community. The pendulum is indeed swinging and I feel sorry for those of you who do not believe in anything beyond themselves.
-
Thank you Anon. You understand the deeper levels of the human condition that I feel are absolutely necessary to get us through the next 100 years.

Sounds like you might need to put away the porn, if you are into that. Or go to Universal studios this Halloween and see if that would change your mind on whatever was in your bed. It could have been some form of necromancy or maybe a demon, or even a Jezebel. Time for a little self-discipline. :smokin:

I have orgasims in my sleep to and the great thing about dreams is that you sometimes can not seperate yourself from a dream or reality, but for your sake and my sanity I will accept that there is more out there than just us.

Because it's happening to me! For about 2 years now ive been getting visits from an incubus. When they first started to happen, i was well chuffed because i thought i was having amazingly sexy dreams! The one night while i was having one of my "Dreams" I woke up and was well aware of my surroundings and i could hear heaving breathing in my ear! I also felt a really heavy presence on top of me! I knew then that this was something more supernatural. Now, as freaked out as i was, i probably handled this situation better than most because i have had many psychic and paranormal happenings occur to me before so im very open minded about strange things.
I started to experience more and more visits and im ashamed to say i didn't put a stop to it because the sexual feelings this incubus was giving me was amazing and felt like nothing i had ever got in normal sex. In fact, i felt like the incubus was inside my whole body and could reach every part of me. So much of what the original poster said in her thread rings a bell to me. But, ive never seen a fog or anything and my incubus doesn't seem to have the manners to reveal his presence! lol
So, after a while i got fed up of these visits because when i woke up the next day i felt drained of energy and grumpy. Plus i realsied it was madness to encourage something like this. So, the next time it came i resisted it. It was an extremely hard struggle but i managed to fight it off. It went away for a while but came back a few weeks ago. Here's the surreal part (If it wasn't that already!) :silly: This morning i got another visit, because i have to admit since it's return i have been letting it do stuff to me so i thought i would confront it. I could hear his breathing as usual so, i decided to asked him/it some questions. I asked his name he said Max., i asked his age he said 33 (Which is my age) i got the feeling he was lying and telling me what i wanted to hear. I asked if he was a dead person and he said yes. I asked him to show himself to me and he said ok, but tomorrow! He said can't i just tell you what i look like? So i go on then. He said he had a really hairy chest (Which i don't go for at all!) and i said what else? and he was stalling so i said show yourself to me now he said i will tomorrow and i said no, i want to see you now or you have to get off of me and he said you silly woman! so i was angry and tried to make him go and i felt him get a bit aggressive and really heavy on my body like he was holding me down. So i shouted out in the name of the father, the son and the holy ghost be gone! and he went! (Im not religious, more spiritual but i didn't know what else to say lol) So, now im not sure what to do. Ive seen a spirit of a young boy only once in my life when i was a teenager and i had to ask him to leave because i was scared. So i know it wasn't a dream. I also have amazing lucid dreams with my (dead) friends and when i awake i truly feel like i have been with them. Plus once on the eve of 9/11 my (Dead) American friend Charlie warned me of the event. So, im used to off stuff happening i could tell you 101 weird things ive seen! I wish the incubus had shown himself to me and it's so bizarre that ive even spoken to him. Also, another lil fact this thing had a posh accent! You know, ive just had a thought. If this thing has a hairy chest i wonder if that means he's some kind of beast?! Ive just had goose pimples come out on my skin and i shivered lol. I know this all sounds so nuts but you'd have to go through it yourself to truly understand it. Also, i don't get the feeling that the incubus was overly aggressive as ive been in control most of the time. However, im a very strong person and could see how a less so person could not only be taken over by the thing but also scared witless! The scary thing is i read the incubuses mate for life and can be jealous if you date other people. A month or so ago i meet a cool guy i feel for everything was going awesome and over night he changed and backed away from me.
Im not saying for sure the incubus scared him off or anything but it was weird how things changed between us. (And no i didn't tell the guy about the incubus! lol) Oh well, that's what im going through right now. Whether you believe it or not is no concern to me as im a very grounded person and understand when im dreaming and when im not. I have had many sexual dreams when ive been sexually frustrated and they have had nothing at all to do with an incubus. So i know the difference between those and real happenings. Im hoping now ive been the last of him, i know being single is not ideal but man, im not that desperate to have an incubus as a bf! lol

Get on board or you will not survive what the world has coming for us."
I totally agree with you there!

There are so many things which the human mind cannot understand or accept. Many militaries in the world use remote viewing. It's a form of spying where an operative is given a numbered code which is the target. They leave their psychical body and travel to other countries, places, or times and report back on the environment they are at. Think that sounds nuts? Well, it's for real. Do your research and free your minds for shackles of science which can neither prove or disprove certain things in this crazy world of ours!

"When i have talked to him about it, he admits that he doesn't want to share me with a ghost or anyone else. I don't talk to him when I have the experiences any more to spare him. Sometimes the ghost barely touches me and I'm there. Plus, having sex with someone unknown to you lacks that special something, if you know what I mean."
how depressing! you are cheating on your husband.. you think that you are having sex with another; not merely fantasizing, mind you, but banging the boogey-man! and then not telling yr husband because he doesn't like the idea.... so far as to admit that you feel the ghost touch you!
what if it's just someone fantasizing about you in some other time and space? right then?! that you are effectively fucking in the ether-- fucking someone you have possibly never met?
wait'll the "israel" becomes "isreal" and see what's really been going on? by then you may be so infatuated with copulating with casper that your husband is off with a good woman.
just some random ranting... good luck!

copulating with caspar? That is hilarious!! Holy shit thanks for my laugh of the day!

Finally, someone else who knows the incubus! Your story is so familiar.
I was successful in banashing the incubus. I only had to talk about it openly with my husband and make a concious effort. Occasionally, I am visited by a lesser force. By lesser I mean far less intense and far less powerful.
I do sometimes wish that he would come back. He is like a drug. But like you, I knew that he was "sucking" my energy. He is a vampire, and fortunately, I have enough wits about me to resist.
Good luck to you!

"It's a common error of ignorant people to discredit a person on all counts based on point.
Wow, european immigrants come over here and lay propaghanda out on the rest of the population with unfounded claims and baseless statements... all in an effort to gain support from you- the witless audience who will jump on any bandwagon possible even without knowing any of the basic facts revolving around the issue at hand. Kudos to you for being stupid yourself. Seems like anyone with a catchy, but uninformed opinion will win attention... interesting.

I must be stupid because I didn't get your point at all.

I have also been visited by creatures (incubus) during the night, though I don't recall any of these visits being sexual. Rather they terrified me. I would wake up in the middle of the night, in absolute, total fear. It would last several minutes. Sometimes, I would awake right before this entity came, and I would know it was coming. I never got a visual of it, though out of my "list of 101 paranormal things I have experienced", never has a spirit made itself visually present to me. So when this visitor would come, I would try and scream, but could not. It was the worst fear ever, as if the absolute of evil was in my presense. This happened to me at all of my apartments (I have moved a lot). One time, when the visits were more frequent, I think I left my body, went to the bedroom door to try and get out, but my hand went right through the doorknob, and I couldn't open it. Then I suddenly woke up, in my body. I wake fully right after the thing leaves. This has been going on for maybe 6 years, though has not happened in quite awhile. Now I always sleep with the t.v. on, and some lights.
