I believe you're correct. Kids of Salt Lake turned into lifeline, but I think the nature of the program changed with the name. I'm not too sure about that part of it. It's just what I heard through hearsay.

Please, go and visit and talk with the kid, face-to-face in private. Why would any legitimage therapist object to something like that? If it isn't allowed, see what you can do about getting the kid out. While this alone doesn't prove abuse, where the mental and physical safety of a kid is concerned, I think it's best to err on the side of caution. Insist that they prove that they're NOT abusing the kids.

YOU SAY A FAMILY MEMBER, HAVE YOU ASKED THE PARENTS OF THIS CHILD ABOUT IT OR SHOWN THEM THIS WEB SITE ? THAT MIGHT BE HELPFUL.I DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS LIFELINE PLACE.
GIVING THE PARENTS THE AWHARENESS OF THIS SITE MIGHT BE GOOD FOR THEM.THEY CA BE AWHARE OF THE SIGNS. GOOD LUCK.

I can tell you that 9 yrs ago when I was living in Salt lake, it was exactly the same as KIDS but no newton and no motivating.  Get the kid out.  I was THERE...as a "graduate" type person.  I saw all the same stuff.
