Has anyone ever seen Lord of the Flies?  It was just like Straight...I just saw it for the first time last night....It scard the crap out of me..... :scared:

An article in Texas Monthy (1991)  referred to straight as a modern day Lord of the Flies.

I just watched that the other night on Showtime and hell yea, there were a lot of things in it that reminded me of Straight! I always thought about doing a long series about experiences in Straight. Like one would be my whole experience through my eyes, another would be by someone else and so on.... I am actually surprised no one has done this yet. HBO, Showtime.....they always want series that claim attention good and bad. The shock factor would blow most away if it was done right.

The movie that showed while I was still in Straight was on regular television. It was called "Not My Kid" and it just made Straight look glorious. :flame:

I haven't seen Lort of the Flies yet, but just told my hubby that I want to see it...said he'd see what he could find.
