I know a little about their sister school, owned by the same people, iirc, Academy at Swift River.

ASR completely isolates the teen from incoming and outgoing mail from friends and relatives.  I don't know about contact with the custodial parent.

ASR also had a kitchen employee talk to the press a few years back to the effect, iirc, that they were ordering him to prepare inadequate meals for the kids, were using sleep deprivation in mandatory marathon "rap sessions" to break the kids down, had staffers yelling obscenities at the kids.....

I don't know much about Aspen Achievment per se, but if you google Academy at Swift River you can read the article yourself.

What kind of info are you looking for? All I know right now is what's been posted in these forums (and even that, I'd have to look) But I'm fairly good w/ research. Tell me what you're looking for and I'll see if it's out there somewhere.

I have read a fair amount of stuff that indicates they are one of the programs to avoid.
