It was an amazing day and we both agree it was perfect. I'm not sure if I ever told anyone that I was catering my own wedding, but the ceremony was at five and I was not dressed yet and icing the cake at 4:30!! Yikes!! We pulled off a beautiful wedding though. I got dressed in 26 minutes. There will be pictures soon. My bouquet was amazing!! My dress was so gorgeous I didn't want to take it off and we had the honeymoon suite with a heart shaped whirl pool bath which I spent close to two hours in. We are off to Mexico this Saturday, there will be pictures of that too! I just thought I'd get on here and let you guys know.

::boohoo:: "I know some day you'll have a beautiful life, I know you'll be a star.......in somebody elses sky, but why? wwwhhhhyyyyy can't it be?, can't it be in -M---I---N---E---????? ::boohoo:: (sorry could'nt resist)
My grandparents were married in 1928 at a time when everything seemed possible. Then came the stock market crash and the Great Depression, but no matter what, their love for each other endured.
The marriage ended after 59 years one unusually warm December morning when Grampa woke up for church and there was no one in the kitchen brewing a pot of coffee. She had slipped away a few hours earlier. They had lived simple and one of the main ingredients of the success of their marriage had been to never go into debt. If they could'nt pay for it right then, they lived without. That cut out a lot of the stress right there, and they made up for a lack of material possesions with thoughtful things they would do for one another. I wish you the best of luck and prosperity, and hope that you can beat their record one day. Love Bob
(oops, post script- they slept in separate bedrooms because Grampa snored like a busted chainsaw)
