I know this kid that got sent to Calvary Christian Academy.
He is home for Easter Break.
I just saw him riding his skateboard Downtown.
He said he had to be home by six because his Mom is forcing him to go to Church tonight.
He told me a little about the School.
Here is their website: http://http://www.ccaeagles.org/
"Calvary Christian Academy, a ministry of Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale, is not just a Christian school. It is a community, brought together by God to shine His light to the world. We invite you to browse throughout our site to get but a glimpse of what our school is all about. The following news pieces were written by CCA students. Catch the vision through their eyes and in the process, stay up to date with CCA news. To read more, simply visit The Messenger, CCA's online high school newspaper."
I checked the "Fornits-Wiki and it is not listed.

We have not been able to find a lot of information about this kind of paramilitary program. Here is the data-sheet on the wiki (http://http://wiki.fornits.com/index.php?title=Calvary_Academy-Florida).
But we are talking of two different programs. The first one is a non-military program. It seems religious and strict, but it also seems to be a day-school. The second one is in our Roloff-spin off category and is a program.

They used to be in Wisconsin and moved down to Florida in 2007. They're connected to the Wisconsin Ev. Lutheran Synod. I take it that Executive Director Mr. Bob Wasser is one of the founders.

you know it is a positive sign that the kid was home for easter. Did you get a chance to as him much about what the program entails?

Oh ya, I grilled him.
I checked out their website with him.
Basically it is a very structured VERY JESUS school.
He will be done in 3 more months.
He is not taking them seriously or being brainwashed.
His Mom did make him go to Church while he was home.
His personality is in tact as far as I can see.
I believe he is there as an alternative to something punative.
He is just doing his time.................
