Title: Fnords where have they been!!!!
Post by: Anonymous on January 27, 2010, 12:24:46 PM
I thought a fnord was seawater that made its way inland many miles, along its journey there are these tall cragy cliffs (fnords)
that rose up.
Well now I am to understand a "fnord" is a misdirection pass. A tale that is not really a tale at all. WTF
Have we not got enough bullshit to deal with on this site w/o "fnording".  lol
............ :shamrock:  :shamrock:  :shamrock: .........Danny

P.S. This all part of a Mud Racking conspiricy!!!!! lol

You're thinking of "fjord." From Merriam-Webster:

fjord
Variant(s): also fiord f?-??rd, ?f?-?; ?fy?rd
Function: noun
Etymology: Norwegian fjord, from Old Norse fj?rthr — more at ford
Date: 1674

: a narrow inlet of the sea between cliffs or steep slopes
