Anyone who remembers me from Springfield, get in touch w/me!  Back then my name was Shannon Fuhrman, today it is Shannon Failor.  I had/have long curly red hair.  Kelley Walker was and still is my best friend from the program.  I stayed at the Bankerd's most of my upper phases.  I would love to hear from anyone during my time! :wave:

Heather, describe yourself!  My first year is such a blur!  I remember 3rd phase and up, but it took me 13 months to get off 1st phase!!!!  Did you graduate?  Were you one of my oc's?  I left a vm for Kelley to see if she remembered you, but I haven't talked to her yet.  Do you stay in contact w/Hope?  If so, how is she doing?  When Kelley and I graduated, we ran w/Hope and Brett for a little while.  But, other than Kelley, when I came back to PA, I didn't stay in touch w/anyone.

My name is Nicole & I was in the OC Straight for 4 days in June of 1990.  Were you there then?  I was the one who jumped out of the window attempting to AWOL.  Subsequestly, I got out.  I would love to talk with you more.....I now live in Los Angeles with my husband....Do you live in CA? Hope your well...Did you transfer to Dallas?

HI Heather,

Yes I fell into the category of never having a drug or alcohol prob but my mother had a lot of $$$$$$$$.  I was in there for "behavior probs" whatever.....However, I did well in school and only did not get along with my mother.... Ironically, I am now a practicing clinical psychologist specializing with children $ adolescents @ an HMO here in LA.  I can now look back and say that I was my mother's scapegote. The best thing I ever did in my life was jump out of a window from the host home.....Very twisted...but very TRUE.....How ironic but I was only in Straight for 4 days...Subsequently, my mom asked for her money back ($4000 six months paid in advanced) in a quiet way Straight told her to "GO TO HELL." She never got a dime BACK!!!!  

In two weeks I am taking the CA Psych boards the Oral part....A major portion of the exam is on Ethical Responsibilities.....Needless to say Straight never studied any ethics nor had any sort of profesionalism...

Did your parents ever consider the CA Straight?
