Score two for the troll today. A valid question, despite the fact that he doesn't *really* care about gross stuff in programs or black kids in public sector gulags. So, despite original intent to ridicule, it's still an interesting enough question to answer.
I think that for me, it would probably have to be kids having strings of snot and mucous (and the occasional vomit) pouring out of their head-holes while they were stooped over in their chairs being egged on by staff to scream at the top of their lungs so loud that you could hear it all the way down in the dining hall.
Three days a week, for hours a day, for two and a half years. It became so commonplace it was taken for granted. I actually forgot after a while that this was not normal.
Thank god I no longer have to do that! There's a bright side to everything.

I see nasty shit all the time. Human shit on the ground, pigeons eating vomit, that's nasty. I live in a big city, it's to be expected. As nasty as it is, it's also (sadly) normal.
What I saw in program was just downright disturbing, and definitely abnormal. :clown:

at HLA:
A student peed his sleeping bag, and was not permitted to wash it or take a shower for a week untill he was let off the intervention. The next four groups that had interventions - spread over a nine-month period - were forced to use the same bags without washing them.
on another occasion, at ridge creek, a few individuals were daring each other for crystal light packets (and being egged on by the staff) to eat worms, slugs, cockroaches, and whatever other random critter had the misfortune of crawling past. one kid, an avid bodybuilder, actually developed a taste for earthworms and would toss them into his MRE meals whenever he was able to dig them up.
A few kids got teabagged on a regular basis by their roommates.
on occasion, people jumped into the lake. The thing is, the septic system at HLA was not capable of handling the load (~250 residents plus another ~100 commuter staff), and would overflow into the lake. the stench was unbearable on some days, and it could be noticed standing at the top of long mountain around a thousand feet up and a two miles away. i cannot imagine what kind of absent-mindedness must posses someone to do such a thing.

I grew up around 'blue number people'....blue number tatooed on their arms..
the grossest, sick-est thing i ever saw was the blank look, people who could stare at pure evil, pure malice, and think not about it.
A goodly number of ww2 camp guards did their shifts, and simply went home, said their goodbyes, and shot or hung themselves.
Oddly that gives me hope, hope that evil is not really inherent in the human soul, that evil is an aberration, and not truly to be tolerated. Inhuman is inhuman. is that what you wanted to know, troll? do you get a kick out of suffering troll? are you one of those?
if you are one of those,I believe that you should be shot dead on sight, before you can harm or insult others.
