why would you tell anyone to go away, seems cyndee has many great things to help others with, I for one enjoy her posts, and another happen to know for a fact that if libby was indeed a victim she so would not have been a staff member and run that place till the end, so stuff it GREG, and leave others alone while they purg, we are no longer victims, we are humans, and I know this human has a lot to share with others . to greg.. you have no idea how grateful i am to you and ginger and all others who began this forum.. let me place my gratitude in context: I was incarcerated by the seed in early "73 at tropical park, and it was amazing, and amazes me still. the day in day out brutality verbal, sexual, implied and actual just amazed me, and the religious millieu. what really got me is that this thing was a juggernaut, and that even adults that i knew and trusted were powerless in the face of it.. teachers threatened if they questioned, parole and probation officers denied access to their charges ( contrary to opinion, Some in corrections are decent people... not very many, to be sure, but some) when they had the force of law behind them, and rightful authority? and they too were denied and stonewalled? amazing!.. and terrifying. as it all fell apart, there threats and intimidation subtle and not so subtle quoting a teacher.. subtle threat.." I appreciate your interest in this boy, but you know we're trying to help him.. if you continue with these questions, i'll have to assume you indulge a little yourself" not so subtle.. the night my mother went to confront the seed and to 'sign me out' she was told that this was a confidential facility and that there was no record of my having been there! Amazing! this, from the creep who accepted the check from her and tried to persuade her that "cash was in everybody's best interest" she was followed at close range by two seed staffers, Arthur and Dennis, I know because i saw them in the car outside my house.
Anyway.. after all that, and for years and years, the seed seemed to disappear, no one spoke of it, no mention any where, "no where are they now ?"investigative reports.
Imagine my surprise when i found this forum, and in bits and pieces found corroboration of my experience. I don't have much regard for foul language either, i think it obscures, and usually serves no purpose. However, i notice that in bits and pieces, other voices are coming forward, usually behind " guest" to them i would say "Hey people! take a tag for yourself, make one up! it's easy! you can do it! This is America ( for the time being anyway) any way accept my thanks, and I'm glad your little one is well.. It would be helpful if you could enlighten me as to 'trolls with an agenda" i don't understand.. I'm from out of town...hey! looka here! it's my pal, the little guy ::unhappy:: ::unhappy::
