Title: Dr. Phil detains a girl at Turn-about Ranch
Post by: Oscar on May 28, 2009, 03:22:45 PM
In the How to be a better parent, part 4 (http://http://www.drphil.com/shows/show/1284) we once again saw the grusome act of a child being banished to Utah brainwashing, when 16 year old Shannon was sent to Turn-about Ranch (http://http://wiki.fornits.com/index.php?title=Turn-about_Ranch).

It may not be the first of the 2009 shows where it did happen. Aspen Education Group did also sponsor the Dangerous Teen Trends show (http://http://www.drphil.com/shows/show/1282). The show itself doesn't reveal who lost valuable time of their lives but they don't sponsor this kind of unethical entertainment for fun.

"Candy-holic?
Maureen and Tim admit that they initially looked the other way when their 14-year-old son, Sam, started "smoking" crushed candy and then snorting powdered drink mix. Now they believe Sam's experimentation with these legal foods led to his making an illegal marijuana purchase."
[/list]

It sounds like this kid couldn't wait to get at the Kool-Aid...  :D

Remember that anti-drug made for tv thing from the 70s that showed some chick who was freaked out on pcp and she jumped out of a window?

So, uh, is the new version some tweaked out kid busting through a brick wall saying "oh yeaaaaaaahh!"
