As you all know by now, Newton LOST a case against him v. Rebecca Ehrlich & there is a new case against him by someone else we all know. Well, there was a taped deposition of him being interviewed by a number of lawyers. Well, it is public knowledge and is not a sealed record, and I viewed it today.
WOW! Is all I have to say. It was so weird seeing him being interrogated like that! A taste of his own medicine. It was sweet. The thing that is so ironic about me seeing this deposition, is that HE is the one that taught US how to read people & read body language, and eye contact etc...and it is so obvious to me in so many places that he is flat out lying!!!
It is obvious in other places to the average person that he is lying & he was "caught" in a few lies with one lawyer saying, "You just made that up didn't you?" OH! It was wonderful. And I have to let you all know that he is aware of our presence on the web, and he doesn't like it. BUT ya know what??? It's a free country!
ANyway, I must also add that seeing what I saw today helps me even more. Seeing that tape today, I can see that he is NOT the "GOD" that we were so in fear of. He is just a regular, fraille old man that is NOT immune to problems or law suits. I think that it really helps to see the man that I am so in fear of for what he really is. I have to suggest that to others. It may bring up lots of shit in the beginning, but in the long run, it helps. I swear it helps.
READ the articles on my site, read the articles on other sites...LEARN your captor. Understand your captor. Do not fear him. He is nothing.
I'm so fuking free!

He's an asshole

ARe you saying people actually still fear this man or think of him as GOd????? I dont need to view a tape or read articles to know he is a freakin wack job! I pray to God no one else who visits this site at this point does either.
-
I always thought of him as an idiot.

Kim, how public is that particular record? Could I, for example, make a digital copy and put it online? I think it would be of great benefit for survivors and the uninitiated alike. What's more, it would make the perfect response to groupers who frequently crash our parties and tell us to quit whining.

I would like to see it also. It is very healing to see him subjected to scrutiny and to see him forced to defend his absurdities. My local library has some of his books, and innocent parents are checking them out, not knowing what a charlatan he is. Please post a link to it, or some way I can get a copy or view it. Thanks sincerely.

I am doing my best to get a copy of it ASAP. And as soon as I do, I will put some of it online. It is a VERY long deposition...(2 days) so I can't put it all up. When I do get copies, I will find out about what all I can do with it. I will keep you informed.

Hey str8isabuse,
I would take out those library books and write the web addresses to these anti-Newton/Kids/Straight etc. sites inside where people will see it. Maybe with a caption like, "To find out the truth about this man go to..."

Did anyone spit in his face or slap his mouth shut or restrain him during his interview?
-
Or grab him by the hair on the front of his head & repeatedly bash his head into the wall? Oh wait, he has no hair on the front of his head. Well, he told me that's the best way to get to get through to someone's brain. So I'm sure I could grab enough hair somewhere on his head.
Still bitter? Who me?

Dave L brings up a very good point. I think it would be a great idea for everyone that visits the boards to pay a visit to the local library and write a simple message in Newtons books (Not My Kid, Gone Way Down, and Adolescence: Guiding Youth) that directs readers to the associated sites. I'll pay mine a visit later this week, hehehe.

And also the KIDS, Drugs, Sex book, Living Again, Family Reactive Disease, Treatment and Recovery, Getting Straight, Out Of A Drug Distorted Adolescent Passage and all other published Newtster works.
Funny, I remember those books, hats, etc.. being for sale during open meetings, almost like shirts at a rock concert or something.

I like this idea and will follow through.Just one question, did he write all those books meantioned in the last post ?I`ve heard of the ones in Dave`s post ,but not these others.let me know.
Dave thanks for a great idea.

Yes, I think they are all mentioned in the dust cover of Gone Way Down, or one of the other books. They are all of the Newtster, but most are out of print. Some may still be on the shelf at the library though. We need to organize to do this so that we cover many different cities. I will make some posts on other boards.

"Out Of A Drug Distorted Adolescent Passage" sounds like a kickass name for a song...
