Title: How do you spy on 100 milion people?

Bug them, use voice recognition technology to translate the speech to text (this is currently available all over the place), use data mining techniques to flag individuals of a certain mentality (maybe sweeten the pot by psychographing your media to cater to certain groups), detect the undesirables. How does the public detect the bugs? Probably can't, who knows what the latest and greatest eavesdropping technology looks like, what kind of frequencies they can operate within, etc. It would take work to create such a system but it's not rocket science.

LOL - read my post about Brain Waves. I've often wondered about applying that theory to light as well (anyone need a Phd thesis?). Vary the frequencies of light at some micro-level and observe responses in cerbral regions. (what's with these captchas here?)

No - "crazy" is one of two things, it's a label you throw out because you either want to suppress something or don't understand it. Prove it's unfounded, any statements made are just based on existing technology. Get some books and learn something instead of remaining ignorant and using your bogus labels.
