After watching the several videos associated with Pathways Family Center, I would like to purchase a baseball bat. I have little to no experience with baseball bats, and am seeking advice on the appropriate type, i.e., weight, wood vs. metal, quality makes and models. Thank you.

well, a lot depends on your level of phisicality. as i am fairly large, and traditional a #33 Louisville Slugger works for me.

I'd go with wood, it's easier to drive nails through than aluminum.

Yeah but if I were to be say driving down the road an ol Officer friendly pulls me over,my ol #33 is in a bag with cleats, socks, and a ball& glove, now Im gonna look pretty GUILTY with the nail thing. The other benefit of wood is that if it became say, tainted, with an incriminating substance, like oh ....just suppose, blood, teeth or maybe brain matter, wood will burn, metal? Not so much.

Hands down - Aluminum with cork center
