Well, sigh. One good thing about fornits has is that it has lessened my guilt about my torturers getting away with what they did to me and my loved one.
Competent people haven't been able to sue or imprison these child cultic torturers. Almost EVERYONE is corrupt, and sickly 16 year olds, in real life, not in the "one man" "one dream" fairy tales we're told, can't really defeat corruption and complicity at the highest levels.
Does this realization make you feel the only decent thing to do now is kill yourself? I wonder how often that realization ends in death.

I'd be dead if that was so. Thing is that I started out in the right place to deal with this. I recognized from the very beginning that the battle migth not be winnable... but i'll still fight. I've made a very conscious decision not to be a "reasonable man" on this one.

But it's true. Nothing would change if everybody accepted things as they are... things have changed, precisely because some refuse to accept things as they are. Indeed, they can only change if people who see something wrong choose to fight, regardless of the outcome. That is how great change always starts. It's the only way.
You, Me, Ginger, the rest here. there are thousands of us. Most get discouraged and wander off. Some commit suicide as you note... actually. A lot do. But is it worth it? By giving up one by one an army is gradually whittled down to a few tired warriors. What if we stood together? Change might not be obtainable, but why let the chances completely go without a fight? If you care enough to die for something, do you care enough to live?
