What happened this time?
-
They choosed a ISP, who was up against some powerful people. The whole ISP was targeted in such a way that several human-rights groups did loose their website - among them Fornits.
While the loss of several months of work is a disaster, it does show what kind of world we live in here in 2008. It shows why we Danes created the cartoon war (http://http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cartoon_war) just to prove to the world that free speech matter. Beside the boost of our self-esteem, it has also meant that countries, who had never heard about before are now buying our goods. The war put us on the map. As result we have almost no unenployment in Denmark. Only 50,000 people are out of job and most of them are on sick-leave.
As for Fornits, we need to focus on the backup procedure and on creating a second place where an inactive version of Fornits are ready 24/7, så Ginger just need to switch the pointer if the main host gets under attack.
When Ginger approach Rotsne (through Covergaard), he is ready to help creating Fornits Wiki with the data from Secret Prisons for teens copy.

God DAMN! That's sad as hell.
On another note, who knows if we'll ever recover the lost data. He was pretty hard line on free speech and on privacy so I don't know if anyone near and dear to him would give us access.
