I read that Brittney's parents are pissed at Dr. Phil who they claimed violated their trust when he spoke publicly about their daughter's recent troubles.  Guess he was even planning on doing a show about her situation but has since dropped the idea.

how can anyone call themselves Dr and follow that up with their first name and not feel sleazy?

I am glad, though, that he's finally getting mass public reproach. It may end up caling attention to what he's done to his less famous victims
