The industry grew by over 19%

Responsible for over 6,000 additional college applications and acceptances, which otherwise would not have been.

All true, but a lot of good things happened last year, each in their own way, helping to expose this corrupt, dangerous industry for what it is, not the least of which were the efforts to silence Fornits and SST, though ultimately, not successful as both are still here.

As for legislative action, at the end of the day, that is NOT going to keep kids out of programs but the hearings did expose NATSAP for what they are which was a HUGE accomplishment.

Programs opening in the face of others closing or being shut down is not unexpected.  Anyone can open their own-cash-cow-program.

Another accomplishment is the GROWTH of survivor websites and blogs, which is increasing every day.  Parents can no longer use the Internet and not stumble across information that is one-sided.  Victims aren't afraid anymore.  The tables have turned.

I think that is key in any healthy growth.  If the total number of schools could stay steady at say 500, but 10% of the weakest or less effective close and 50 new ones open (for example) would look like a wash on paper but would be a huge improvement overall.

But what we are seeing is an extended growth above and beyond the normal fall out on top of this so the growth is forcasted to continue (at least) into the 3rd quarter of '08.

College acceptence has been another area whch has jumped... so many people are excited with this.  I would be interesting to see these numbers matched up against individual models/programs to measure their individual effectiveness vs the national norm.

After the hearings in Q1 '08 many expect a shift away from traditional boot camps and move more torwards wilderness and residential treatment/ TBS's,  this will open a whole new market.

Never have I seen a face so diseased and bearing such obvious signs of alcoholism and EVIL.  Make it go away, it scares the children.

Get real WHO, once the referral industry is gagged, enrollment in these corporate gulags will severally drop.

Trust me, the wheels are already in motion.
