Don't know anything about silk screening, but I do have a commercial T-shirt heat press left over from my UndiTops days that I'd be willing to donate.

Post by: Botched Programming on December 07, 2007, 08:53:40 AM: I use to really like doing the silk screen process. When I was in High School, I would get pre-made frames from the craft shop and stretch the nylon screen myself.

I've done quite a few film cut stencils which was very time consuming, but very rewarding. Probably my best one was the pegasus from the Steve Miller albulm. I spent hours on a light table doing the cut out. But once I was done, there were a lot of people wearing shirts with my handy work on it.

This process looks pretty cool when you use a couple of colors, however no 2 shirts ever come out the same. In order to get multiple colors perfectly matching on each shirt, multiple screens would have to be made. But if you are only using one color, this is really the way to go.
