Ok not to get all freaky deep on a "regular" non political post but......

at the end of the night of the living dead when the black man made it through everything

everything he was shot by some ignorant white man

I always thought there was a deeper poltical meaning hidden in there by "the man"

do tell my people do you agree with me or is it just my jaded self my insanity always searching for the real true hidden deeper meaning

The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing

I recall reading that there was some kind of message implied like "as hard the black man tries, he'll still get fucked in the end by the white man" or something to that effect. The guy who made the movie, George Romero said in response to that statement that he "just wanted to make a good horror movie." That guy (the black guy) was the most competent character throughout the whole film in dealing with the calamity that was taking place. It sucked to see him get shot in the end. If there was in fact some sort of statement being made there, it could be interpreted a couple of different ways, I think...
