What program did Nihilanthic attend? Instead of talking about his own program experience he uses his abuse as an excuse to hurt others. Is this what fornits was created for? Aparently. Because our repeated pleas have gone unnoticed and unanswered.
This forum is responsible for the feelings of those who post here, and I can only speak for myself but my feelings are hurt on a daily basis reading this forum. It used to be a valuable source of information on this industry WE ARE ALL WORKING TO DESTROY.
Nihilantchic thinks he is the only one fighting and uses his bully pulpit to stifle debate and hurt the feelings of other victims who deserve just as much sympathy as he is given.
We can be useful and do what your interest says.

I agree. This is a woman who has a very sad story. Few people agree with her take on many issues. This is no excuse for abuse or degradation. If Nililanthic had the level of sympathy for program survivors that he claimed he would think twice before being abusive, crude and unnecessarily unkind.

There are thousands of people out there with just as many opinions as to their experience in TBS’s and wilderness, they all don’t need to meet your criteria. Many here (yourself included) continues to amaze me as to how close minded you/they are…… Let these people speak and tell their story (the way they like). Just because it doesn’t fit into your personal definition of how a person who attended a TBS should feel doesn’t give you the right to censor it from others to read.
If you were engaged in a conversation with a survivor over on the PV thread and Niles came along and started posting his gorillas,porn or hate sites because he didn’t like what the survivor was saying, would that be acceptable to you? Just because CCM doesn’t respond with the traditional, and fornits wide condoned, stock answers doesn’t mean she should be silenced. Open your mind and listen to what others have to say, you don’t have to agree with it, but you may learn something new who knows.

CCMgirl is claiming that sexual abuse is ok, just so long as the guy is "hot" and that girls are asking for it and in fact "luring" and taking advantage of the adult males who though in a position of ultimate authority are clearly "victims". She states that those who are "playing" as victims (ie. having the terribly bad taste of speaking up about abuse and/or trying to protect others from the same abuse) should just shut up and let things be since we "enjoyed it" anyway. Meanwhile, theWho and co. are decrying the "abusive, crude and unneccesary" behaviour of Niles. Because apparently rape isn't abuse, but posting a gorilla with a .wav file is.

Being pinned to the floor in a cold, dark room and brutally violated by multiple assailants whispering in your ear that no one will believe you since you're "just a druggie" and "don't you feel powerless now" and "not so smart now are you".................. and having no way of telling anyone who will listen or help you for months after. But at least you know you're not going to get pregnant since it's been months since you last got your period because stress and lack of food have made you amenorrheic...... That, you fucks, that is abuse. And no I didn't ask for it, and I don't even know if they "were hot" because I couldn't see - does that make me a "victim"?

We all have had different experiences while in programs. I have every right to say how it went down in the places I attended. I do feel badly for some people who were sexually abused. But, I am just saying that nobody was ever raped at any of the places I attended.

I'm here to speak the truth, that's all. Not everyone is going to have the same experiences. I realize that. But, it does get a little annoying when I can't say what I personally saw, and experienced, in my 4 1/2 years of placement which consisted of me being in 3 different treatment centers. Without getting verbally attacked, and sometimes disgustingly so.
Niles was never in a program. I don't see why he thinks he is so right, and I am so wrong. Maybe one of his boyfriends was, I don't know?!!
I love the fact a few of you are suggesting I need help, or therapy! Don't you get it? I don't. I am able to talk about things openly, I am not a victim of my past. The blame game is over for me, and has been for some time.
There is quite a few of you that are still playing the victim, and blaming your parents, and these treatment centers for how you turned out. Are you going to do that for the rest of your lives? Because in the beginning, people will cut you some slack. But, not for very long.
As for the parents who are here, and playing the victims themselves, saying how they were lied to, and are pissed off that you bank account is $40,000 less then it used to be. Well, wake up, and smell the coffee. You should have done your homework. You probably did more homework when you purchased your car for crying out loud! If you feel like you didn't get your moneys worth, then that's your problem. You made the choice, now you deal with it.
I can't stand dumb people who don't read contracts, and expect miracles. There are some people who will always feel like they didn't get their monies worth. As you all know programs, and treatment centers, are not a one size fits all. There are kids who will not benefit. There are some who will.
I look forward to the government stepping in to iron out some of the wrinkles some of these private schools have. I do think there needs to be some oversight.
But, I will never stop speaking my mind. I don't care how much people disagree with me. So, get used to it.

Including myself. I was there and I had no idea. However, after it was revealed and with the benefit of hindsight I found both of them to be completely credible and myself to have been completely clueless. As you are now.
