AARC is a fully licensed treatment centre. Clients on first phase stay in fully regulated and licensed foster homes. The clinical staff are all registered social workers and/or licensed psychologists. The Executive Director has an extensive academic background in addictions medicine. Additionally, he is a psychiatrist. Prior to admission to AARC, a psychiatrist specializing in Addictions Medicine examines each prospective client, at which time a chemical drug screen is performed. Prior to opening AARC, the Executive Director worked in a renowned and peer-recognized addictions treatment facility.
The treatment modality at AARC is entirely innovative, and has no resemblance whatsosever to that used in Synanon, Straight, and Kids.
Sorry for the misunderstanding David.

A recent call to the college of psychologists shows that Bryan Campbell Clinical Coordinator is a registered psychologist.

Huzzah for AARC! This must be recent, as they are currently adding to his website credentials. If this is true, it will be the first time in years that a licensed psycologist has been on staff. Where is Marty Haag these days? How's Dean-o's status? Still nothing?
-
Nothing for everyone else on staff. College of psychologists thought that information alone was enough to start an investigation, so they have under Campbell.

How about the Clinical Supervisor/Intake Coordinator? Does a Clinical Supervisor outrank a Clinical Coordinator or vice versa?
-
To the best of my knowledge the clinical supervisor/intake coordinator outranks the clinical coordinator. But it was only the clinical coordinator who is registered as a psychologist. The college is investigating a complaint.
