Paddy Meade still refuses to explain why a Deputy Minister from Health and Wellness is responding to a complaint to our Justice Minister about AARC.
This defies all logic, as Health and Wellness has nothing to do with AARC. No government body oversees or regulates AARC's treatment centre. It has no license, no status with the Provincial Health Authority, nothing.
How did a complaint about AARC end up going to Paddy Meade?

It is interesting to note that while the head of AADAC, M. Meade wholeheartedly endorsed AARC, being pictured in one of AARC's Society Page plugs in the Calgary Sun.
Why was the head of AADAC endorsing an unlicensed treatment centre, and one that AADAC had previously refused to endorse?

Is Paddy in any way related to Krystal Meade, exploited subject of the bullshit Nature of Things pitch for AARC?

According to AADAC - AARC IS supposedly a member of the Canadian Accreditation Council on Human Services.
They also receive funding from AADAC. This was confirmed by an AADAC employee yesterday.
I was told to contact the above mentioned CAC and find what standards need to be met. What they are accredited under ie: DAY program opposed to RESIDENTIAL program. And what is the recourse if the standards are not met.
I was also told to contact the Social Care Facilities Act and the Screening Unit for Child Intervention Services.

They are a member of this organization: http://www.aascf.com (http://www.aascf.com). The Alberta Association of Services for Children and Families. They are not accredited by them. They are are a member organization which means simply that they fit the following criteria:
Members Include: Any organization/individual providing direct service to children and or families within Alberta.
And are willing to pay $150-$4300 per year in dues. AASCF does accredit organizations, but AARC is not currently on their list of such accredited orgs.

The only Alberta Government Ministry with any oversight of All About Receiving Cash is the Service Ministry, which oversees Societies. And AARC is without a doubt in violation of that act. It prohibits the Soceity from organizing primarily to carry on a trade or business. The name itself shows that AARC's exists primarily to run a treatment centre, which is a business that charges $150 a day per client and has a paid staff.
