I THINK THE PETITION WAS A GREAT STARTING POINT. AT THE BOTTON OF THIS http://www.snopes.com/inboxer/petition/internet.asp (http://www.snopes.com/inboxer/petition/internet.asp) IT STATES THAT WRITING LETTERS IS NESSESARY TO STOMP THE OUTRAGOUS ON-GOINGS THAT R INFESTING THE NATION.

I do this already, probably to the point where the government is watching my ass.
I write my representatives at least twice a month, probably more. The latest letter being sent to all my representatives protesting the bill that was passed in the state of VA, that the government now requires all people with a child support enformcement case who receive 500.00 or more per year will have 25.00 deducted to reduce the deficit. Mind you, this money they are collecting are for the children. SO now, they are taking the childrens money to pay off the fucking deficit. If that wasn't bad enough, I also wanted to know why STATE funds are being used to pay off a FEDERAL debt. The stupidity of the ENTIRE US GOVERNMENT makes me wanna wrech.

However, anyone can write a letter. People have to learn to get their shit together, organize, know your facts...then write your letters and encourage others to do the same.
Problem is. no one wants to do, they just want to bitch about it.

That's a pretty broad assumption. A lot of do plenty, but just don't post about it. To some of us its a very personal issue.
