Now don't get wrong, I've appreciated college radio to a great extent over the years and still do, but sometimes these stations 'push' the lamest shit.. I'm a little tempted to start naming some names of shitty songs / artists I've heard on there lately, but I'm not sure where to begin (I'll leave that up to you), but the common denominator among this dreck is that it just DOESN'T ROCK and is sorely lacking in any redeeming musical quality. I guess what I'm trying to say is that a lot of it flat-out sucks...

You are correct, sir.  My latest hate is some whiny ass emo tune that begins "Hey there Delilah, what's it like in New York City?.....".  I fucking hate that song, and it's getting lots of airplay.  I seem to hear it in stores, coming out of cars, etc. etc.  Makes me wanna puke......

That's nothing new guys.  Ever since radio began it's been like that.
I remember back in the '70's they pushed some really lame shit.
I decided years ago the best way to go is w/soundsystem and my own tunes.
