From the Counseling page:
Each student is treated as an individual. Upon their arrival they meet with our staff counselors and set a preliminary goal. The student then has two weeks to focus and identify the issues and actions that brought him to Bonneville Canyon. After reviewing this with our Director, they devise a long-term goal. Whether it be drug rehabilitation, educational goals, personal changes or all the above; the plan now becomes the goal of the staff at Bonneville Canyon as well. We will help guide the student and offer support for them to follow this plan.
Daily encounters offer time for continuous confrontation on issues. If drug or alcohol use is a problem, the students work directly with our Counselors to develop a recovery plan. The student may attend NA/AA meetings offered locally or even seek counseling with a licensed Substance abuse counselor. Whatever level of support the student needs, we will do what is necessary.
A student may also choose to engage in more intensive individual counseling with a Licensed Therapist, located outside our program. We work closely with a selected group of reliable and experienced professionals. This is an option that you may find necessary. If medication is currently being used, the student will need to maintain the proper dosage with regular office visits.
From the Testimonials page:
"I would like to thank you for all that you have done for me. If it wasn't for Bonneville Canyon I don't know where I would be today; probably in jail or worse dead. You have been the biggest and most positive influence on my entire life. You have forced me to take a hard look at myself and really see who I was. When I realized what a train wreck I had become, you helped me change all of that. You gave me my life back and I don't know how I will ever be able to repay you for that. You did what no one else was willing to do for me anymore; you gave me a second chance. For that I am truly grateful. Thank you for all the work you put into me, as I know I was not the easiest person to deal with all of the time."
Thank you very much,
K.K. - North Carolina
