Well we can write this asshole off as a traitor. As most of you know he did a show on Straight and WWASPS where survivors told their stories. You'd think that he would learn from this but no. A year ago he did a show were he praised the mother and daughter team who wrote a book praising WWASPS.
Well now he's gone off and pulled a Dr.Phil. He's sending a 14 year old to a program in Utah called Red Rock Canyon School. I missed the name but he's using some escort service as well. They got this lady on there who is saying how this 14 kid is murder his sister and her baby if the don't send him to a program, my God...

Disgusting he's now running "Is your child in crisis? Call Montel" ads ::puke::
EDIT: It appears that this kid has spent time in other programs. At the end of the show he said thats how he ended up at Hopard?(I couldn't really catch the name) "by them(?) making it look all nice". This sounds like a kid who knows that program reality doesn't match the brochures from experience.

My kid was at Red Rock Canyon. Not a WWASP run program. I can say that this school pretty much is and does what it says, unlike WWASP programs. I am not pushing this school, and I don't refer, never have, and never worked there either, just in case someone wants to troll in here.

I should say this is my own personal experience with Red Rock.. I hadn't heard that name in a while.

The school seems to be where they claim it is. The buildings on their website is not fake, which is a good thing.

Another source from people periodicly leaving their office for a cup of coffee in return for a good report is the School Accreditation office in Utah (How do you get to work there? Easy money for nothing).

They have a report for Red Rock and it seems that they do seem offer some kind of school there, but as always the visitation report states that we are living in 2007, where students should have benefit of the internet.

I understand that parents are not allowed to speak with their child for up to 21 days after arrival, is that true? Mine was a "captured" runaway, taken to the facility by a total stranger. I am mortified my child will be subjected to meds again!
