Title: Conference? Any one going to St. Pete?

Has anyone been to one? Is it worth checking out? What do you do there? This would be like returning to the crime scene for me!

I would love to be invovled in picketing the Sembler's mansion this year. That would  be cool to get in the paper, or on television. I would love to meet some of you people. And sure, burn a fatty on the beach. (Smel Sembler that is. :lol: )

I'll be there and so will some of the people from last year.. It was a great time to see the survivors. This year the conf is a little more directed to the here and now as well as the future of treatment centers but there will be a luncheon and reunion on Sunday afternoon...

The pickets were great and the clearwater  mall will be opening the same time as the conf..You know it is a SEMBLER project..
I am thinking of having a party at my house as I live in Pinellas county... Bring your tents, sleeping bags, food and beer I'll provide the grill, bathrooms, electricity and a place to pitch your tents. Some friends have called the guest room already but I still have the livingroom floor and a couch. but you must like dogs :em:

it was a great time last year and there are many people that go for the info on how to spot abusive treatment centers it realy is a confrence go to http://www.thestraights.com (http://www.thestraights.com) and there is a link to the past two confrences...

Well, I need to see if my X will take the trolls for the conference period, then I will offer up my place for a local crash pad.  My house is only 4 bedrooms, but it is cozy and VERY conveniently located about 5 minutes from the main road junctions to St Pete/Clearwater, and the airport is right there too.  
I do have a nice yard, with lots of shade trees for the camper types, and my neighbors are used to "interesting" people and "herbal" scents in the air.  As long as you share, of course...
Now I just need to get rid of those kids for a few days....
