I'm having trouble doing searches... Is there something we should know about re. doing it differently?  thnx

is it slow or not pulling back results you expect? ntohing really changed with that so let me know what's going on and i'll take a peek.

It is definitely not pulling results back.  To check, I repeated a search I did a month or two ago that had 2-4 results.  I got zero this time.

Ditto. Just tried to find some previous posts and got no returns. Searched on google and the link didn't take me to the message. It did take me to the thread the post was in.

My observation is that the search function is not working for anything that was in the database prior to the migration.
Search "Penitentiary", no author. You'll get a message that was posted today, and a lot of other messages that appear to be random. They don't contain the word, or anything close. You won't get anything prior to the migration. And I know there is at least one other because I posted it recently.

should be ok now but let me know. seems our word list that it checks again used to be 200,000+ words well you were searching against a list of 8000 words. lol that's 1 post on this forum just about lol... so yeah i restored the old word list, its possible some keys didn't get picked up but they will as people reply etc.  anyway let me know if it seem so to be working or if you notice anything strange. etc.

Much to my dismay, it wouldn't bring up the "Quit Whining" thread on the Straight Vets forum.
