Title: The Situation
Post by: starry-eyed pirate on February 16, 2007, 03:43:46 AM
It's late.  What's up ?  I'm here at 2:56 in the mornin...

(sigh)...

We got all that snow the other day...

I love characters.  My friends are all characters.

I love watchin the ol' t.v. shows.  M*A*S*H is my favorite.  Rockford Files.  Streets of San Fransisco.  Hawaii 5-o and the original Star Trek too.

I guess it all helps me to forget all the darkness in the world.  Well, not always.  A t.v. show like M*A*S*H will even help you look at the darkness, which is one of the reasons it's such a phenomenal show.

You have to be careful though; have to watch out.  Keep a critical mind.

Mindful of it all.

Programs to chain up the youth.  School systems to brainwash the youth.  Civilized values.  Freedom and Democracy in the Police State.

Government oppresses the people.  Capitalism has sold it all!  Exxon-Mobile posted the highest profit ever!  of all time.  No one's ever made more !!!

The middle East is on fire, with war.  The American President is like barely even real to me now.

There is an entire system set up to hold down and exploit the people.  I was in $tr8. in the mid 80s. That kinda just cuts to the chase.

Watchin the news at night is like, surreal...I feel like I'm watchin that ol' sci-fi movie about the end of the world.

I seen it comin for a long way...

All the lies that you told...

...Lives that you sold honey.

and aint it gettin dark now ??  Everythings become a lie.  I knew it all along but somehow had to suffer in order to speak.

$tr8 was the "Seed" of the Police State.  The Police State is on us now.  The program has gained strength.  We are dead.  Everyone is workin for Exxon/Mobil.

3:43. Anarchy.

I love characters. My friends are all characters.

Me too; mine too.

Who they are means more to me than "what they do."

Yeah, no shit! I think I liked it better when I was just a little paranoid but the world was more or less ok.

Check out some of these mugs. Any of them familiar from Indie?

Oh, and I finally found that elusive reference to DFAF involvement in setting up that coalition that's sponsoring Straight, Indy.

I wonder what Dan is up to these days. Damned fine journalist. Prolly too smart for the room and way ahead of his time.

Hey, the nice little silver lining is engineers are making a killing fresh out of college working for the petrochemical companies...

I should hop on that gravy train and then use some of their own money against them. Nothing like shoving their own shit right back up their own ass, huh? :em:
