For those who care, here's the deal -

Sometime in mid December, I personally took some documents to Leigh for her to copy. The arrangement was that they would be copied THAT NIGHT so I could bring them back home. However, since we were friends then, we spent a lot of time talking, she made a great dinner and we basically goofed off and didn't get the copies made. A few days passed, we needed the papers back for the bonfire since we had not made duplicates of them yet and I sent Leigh an email offering to pick them up, take them to a copy shop, and deliver a set of copies back to her. This is part of what I got as a response in an email from Leigh on Dec. 17th:

"I'm not part of your special seven-step society that has warm and fuzzy feelings about the program and shares everything so freely and lovingly EXCEPT their testimony or conversation with the likes of me.

Bill is just being a selfish, impatient prick. No
doubt, that attitude has served him well with you - but in the real world - it is highly unappealing.

Apparently, anything nice you do is counteracted by the prick you are married to.

You deal with seven-steppers, and I deal with REAL people with REAL feelings who live in the REAL world. The people I contact at least have the guts to tell me how they truly feel - they don't waste time insinuating things . . . because
they weren't brainwashed into avoiding their true feelings - or ignorant enough to spout off about what a great program it was after they take bong-hits and drop acid (and no, I'm not calling
YOU ignorant or a drug user) - I'm making a point about people we know.

If you'd like - I'd be glad to drive the paperwork over and SHOVE IT UP

At that point, I went to Leigh's home, and picked up the papers myself. When I looked through them, it was obvious that some of them were missing. Yes, Ginger - that's theft. Since Leigh had already made threats of physical violence we decided that allowing Leigh to "permanantly borrow" some papers was worth it in order to end the whole situation.

Leigh then began posting nasty messages about us on the Fornits board. I told Mike Sherman if she threatened us with violence again, I would call the police regarding the marijuana she reportedly was growing in her basement. It would appear that Leigh had reason to worry about that, because once Mike warned her of my statement, the hatemail and posts suddenly stopped. Looking back, perhaps I just should have taken the emails I received, gone to the police and pressed assault charges.

We hadn't heard one word from Leigh until she signed on with SafetyNet at the request of Mike Sherman. Then the attacks began all over again - completely unprovoked by myself or Bill. This was a private matter until Leigh, on behalf of SafetyNet, decided to prey upon Bill and I in an attempt to discredit ISAC.

Hey people!

Sorry I am posting no name, i never post here hardly and i always forget my user name and password.

I am still reading all this stuff, but i wanted to say Shelby is an awesome person.  She has spent countless hours all in the name of helping kids in these programs, and invested her own money as well.  

Leigh Bright, you ever seen the movie "Carrie" ?  Do you recall the mother in that movie?  Damn that is what your posts remind me of.  

Shleby, hang tough girl!  All of us that know the truth know you are a good person with good intentions and won't listen to anything otherwise!

Exactly how is this supposed to vindicate you? You think some papers are missing, so you assume theft? And, just to get back at your newly perceived enemy, you threaten to throw a midnight DEA party for her via 1-800-BEASNITCH?!!!

No wonder so many people have been remarking lately that you guys are re-creating the Program. Leave me out of it, please.

Ok Antigen, well, in order to stay out of it, you would have to stay out of it. Maybe when all this settles down will be the time that you will finally learn the truth. As a fellow survivor of the worlds most notorious drug rehab, I am pleading for you to not believe Leigh's rumor, Antigen. When people start spewing forth rumors, they tend to only aggravate and accentuate the negativity in people. The last 48 hours is proof of that. If you look real hard, you may see a forest through the trees. Regardless of what you heard, apparently the facts are not one of them. That is OK, though, no hard feelings. I would appreciate it if you would refrain from calling me and my wife names, I do not call you any, you know... :smokin:

The sad fact of the matter is that BOTH side are guilty of slander and what not. And with all of the bickering going all between both sides and there supporters, coupled in with the anonymous antagonizer, who in the HELL do ANY of you think is going to come to you for help?

For those new people who come onto the boards looking for help, friendship, lost friend and even solace, but finding a hodgepodge of shit that is attuned to being back into a never ending unescapable group session, where if you don't watch what you say, the discussion will turn sour and the rants and raves and disagreements between ISAC and SaftNet begin all over again in yet another thread.

IMHO, organized anything is a bad thing. You get a bunch of like minded people together and you end up with a mob carrying torches and rope.

You all are like a pack of savage children, none of which are willing to let it go and take the higher ground. All willing to play the injured party, while throwing such obviously barbed comments at the other.

Listen, there is always going to be anonymous users (unless policy changes, I doubt it) that start shit. Ignore them, there just ass holes, let it be for Christ sake.

You know, whenever I complain to my Mom about something and how I can't handle it she always looks at me and says, "Is it as bad as it was for Jesus when they scourged him and nailed him to a cross?" and the answer, of course, is ALWAYS "No." I tell this story because I thought I was taking the high road by ignoring the husband despite his continual utterance of my name. And then I saw this post by the wife and my heart sunk. But after I read what Ginger said and then your advice, (oh mighty System lord) I decided that you are right and instead of reacting, I will stay on this road. Besides, somebody has to be professional and diplomatic.  :smile:

Well, The nation is at war, and so are people on this board. The fun never ends. I'll tell you though, it can make for good 'entertainment' to sit back and watch the "shit hit the fan". When I get tired of watching the news, I can just pull up this page and dig in. It sure beats the hell out of watching reality TV or most of the watered-down crap that passes for entertainment these days... :grin:

I'm sorry, I didn't want to come off like I'm laughing at people too much or anything. Getting enjoyment at others expense, etc... Certainly it is not yours or anyone else's misery that I laugh, chuckle, snicker, grin or otherwise become animated about. But there can be no denying that the mud-slinging is downright funny sometimes...It's kinda like when we were in group, yes, and bored to fucking tears and just hoping that someone "full-of-shit" or misbehaving would get stood up and blasted (as long as it wasn't you) because it was the only entertainment we had, on the lower phases especially. Well, we aren't in group now, I know...but this still (usually) beats TV and sometimes even books or music...and if this board were a TV show, the ratings would be THRU THE ROOF right now!  :rofl:

No, I'm serious, ROTFLMAO  :lol:  - that truly was funny, the way you said it, like a soap opera. It made me burst out laughing when I read it. It's just too bad that - you know, we're laughing about me, because I didn't sign the contract for this part. Who do I speak with about more money, cause this gig doesn't pay squat!

Give me a break that you now decide to turn the other check.If you had choosen to met with Bill this matter would have been solved by now without the drama.The real reason for you bashing the Earnshaws will be known very soon and thats when this story will get good.Why you underestimated their kindness for weakness is beyond me.
