A shitty choke hold without getting his hooks in. Lovely!

Oh well, army 'jujitsu' sucks ass anyway. They don't train it nearly long enough to do anything but convince them to keep fighting, because they spend all their time practicing maneuvers and using their FRIGGING GUN AND OR KNIFE.

P.S. - GRAB YOUR OTHER SHOULDER NUMNUTS! WHAT, DID YOUR DRILL SERGEANT MAKE YOU GO TO A TAEKWONDO CLASS TO LEARN A CHOKE HOLD?  :rofl:

Oh, but regarding child restraint? I wonder if anyone has ever tried to do a psychological study of it and find out what would be the least traumatic to someone emotionally to do to them... but it seems what they do in programs is to try to MAXIMIZE the helplessness and regression.

An apparatus and method for assisting a first person in maintaining a safe restraining hold on a second person for extended period of time without danger of positional asphyxiation is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a first resilient pad with a receiving channel for receiving the first person's elbow and bottom flat surface having an extruded area positioned and configured to releasably attach to an additional stabilizing pad underneath so that the position of the apparatus may be optionally elevated above the floor surface. The first person initiates the restraining hold by manipulating the second person into a face-down prone position onto the floor surface, such that the first person is disposed along and above the second person. The first person completes the restraining hold when the first person's weight is distributed between the first person's knees and the first person's elbow such that the first persons elbow is proximal to a corresponding arm of the second person. The apparatus is then applied and positioned by a third person such that the first person's elbow is retained within the receiving channel. The pressure of the elbow in the channel is sufficient to form a releasable vacuum seal between the first resilient pad and the additional resilient pad if it is present. The first person is thus comfortably elevated over the second person during extended application of the hold and danger of positional asphyxiation is thereby eliminated.

BULLSHIDO ON FORNITS!  :rofl:  :rofl:

I love that.

If you want to grapple, go to a place that does wrestling, a Judo place that actually does ground work, or a BJJ place, and go roll for a few months.

Crappling != grappling, sorry!

I've tought of a realy good restrainign technique that is not harmful and won't kill anyone

jump on your kid (surprise) then handcuff them to the bed for a few days utnil they know you mean business, no programs needed, no-one gets throttled to death in the process and a lesson is learned - that you mean it  :evil:

Good advice or what?  :D

It's incidents like this that make me think humanity is going to be instantly annihilated if we meet a more technologically advanced species.

"They do WHAT? To WHO?! Okay.. fire up the PlanetBaker.. scratch off Earth, let's find intelligent life somewhere else."

I wish I knew for sure which facility this happened at. I don't recognise the staff. I had* a video of two large women holding a girl (quite a large one admittedly) in a double chickenwing/wrist lock combination. THat must have been excruciating and to make it worse they were bawling at her because she was crying. Treating a prisoner like that in a warzone would have been considered a warcrime so I'm not sure how they got away with it.

*to be recovered when I rebuild my PC.
