Title: Looking for defunct websites
Post by: Anonymous on November 26, 2006, 03:46:03 PM
I'm looking for no-longer-extant websites of defunct programs that either have been snapped up by a domain reseller or have simply been allowed to expire.

It's a shame that cedu.com got snapped up by a Korean search engine spam company that apparently doesn't do resales...

I regret that I cannot reveal the true nature of my identity.  The MAN is down on me and I can't raise up.  This facility is still extant,  unfortunately, but these pages are defunct and full of useful info on the comings and fast goings of every level of clinician.  They've been through four administrators in six years.  The gooners who have been there a long time... damn, they must love the evil shit they do to stay when everybody else beats feet.  Or maybe they're losers trapped by  ineptitude in this backwoods pit of despair.

Zoominfo is the place to find your favorite program people.  Dig in.

You're both missing my point. I'm looking for websites that no longer exist. I don't care what their archives are. I'm looking for something that I can buy myself and redirect to Fornits.

No, I didn't miss your point.  I said the facility was still in existence.  Anyone with an interest in that program will find it useful to see the turnaround and track the facilities former staffers went to.

I used the archives site to find the defunct website of a former pseudo-guru.  I couldn't remember the name but a search there found it and I'm going to buy the domain for my own website.  He's back in business under a different name and needs some competition.
