What is Elan, and what do they do there?

I'm a complete outsider, so be descriptive.

Elan is a TC. What else do you need to know?
Do you know what a TC is?

Elan is a TC in Poland Springs, Me. Kids from 12-18 are sent there by parents, court, ect.
Elan is supposed to take your "bad" kid and turn him/her into an "adult".
Elan does what no one else could do for your out of control adolescent.

I love how Elan's website makes it seem like its a nice place to be.
They should have a section where the cons can be addressed about that place.
They do an excellent job at lieng to the parent and manipulate them into thinking that sending their child there is the best descion they will ever make.
