Title: his mailbox is full
Post by: ehm on March 04, 2003, 01:48:00 AM
Michael Moore does UNCOVER movies. Stories no-one will touch. His last movie was in theaters recently. It was called Bowling for Columbine.
I would love to see him pick up ours. Especially for the ones still open right now. E-mail him:
mike@michaelmoore.com
He certainly wouldn't be on Mel's side!!!
This idea has been posted before, but I don't know about here.

we have sent numerous emails to michael moore over the past 2 years or so about straight and straight-like programs.  So far, we have not received any response.....so any of you that want to, have at it.  I for one ain't gonna send him any more emails to have them ignored (at least for now)

I want to see Bowling for Columbine. I suppose I'll wait till it comes out on cable or on video cause I'm just that cheap! But I'm a big fan of Michael Moor's work, even if I do disagree with most of his conclusions and proposed solutions.

One interesting thing I heard about Bowling for Columbine is that he checked gun ownership stats in Canada and found out that they have around as many guns per capita as we do. And yet their violent crime rate is consistently a fraction of ours. Do ya' think it might possibly have to do with the drug warriors who've taken over our government? Maybe?

Anyway, I get the impression that he at least acknowledged in the movie that it might be something other than the right to self defence at the root of the problem. I have to respect that.

To make certain that crime does not pay, the government should take it
over and try to run it
