St. Pete developer does image makeover

The Sembler Co. is re-branding itself in the face of its latest growth.
Details about the effort were being formally announced at the Florida International Council of Shopping Centers convention Aug. 20-22 in Kissimmee, the company said.
Having been recently named the 'Sixth Fastest Growing Developer in the U.S" by Chain Store Age, the company felt the need to expand its marketing efforts and its image, a release said.
It recently promoted Dawn Ladd to vice president of marketing to address the growing volume of projects. The marketing staff will develop and produce new corporate collateral, and a new corporate newsletter as well as direct all trade show conventions, exhibit programs and special events hosted annually by Sembler.
The company provided no details about its financial investment in the effort.

Sembler trims down company's name
The Sembler Co., the St. Petersburg-based developer, unveiled a new logo and shorter name. The business said it will now be known as Sembler, dropping "The" and "Company" from the name. "We've adopted the less is more theory and I think it will be even more impactful and memorable," said chief operating officer Craig Sher.
