His arm is just bruised, but a six-year-old boy said he doesn't want to see dolphins anymore after being bitten by one at SeaWorld Orlando.
The boy's mother said that while visiting the dolphin-petting attraction Sunday night, the dolphin grabbed Brandon Jackson's left arm. Its teeth didn't break the child's skin, but the mother said she had to hit the dolphin's snout until it let go of the boy's arm.
A SeaWorld spokeswoman said the dolphin would be watched and might be retrained in a "behavioral-modification" program.
The family was visiting from Valdosta, Georgia. They were given a private dolphin viewing and four tickets for a return visit.

The kid was probably a little asshole and the dolphin knew it so he bit him! To bad he didn't leave a scar so that as that kid grew up he could look at it and remeber not to be an asshole!

So the dophin's behavior will be modified for attempting to modify the kids behavior.
Perhaps the kids just looked like dinner.
How do you modify inherent instincts?
How do you "modify" someone's behavior without traumatizing the victim?
In this context the word Modification implies external control, mutation, restraint; and teaches nothing about internal control.
What this "war on everything" culture/programs needs to learn is that there are ways to socialize humans and animals that don't include disrespect and violence. It requires more effort and genuine caring, but well worth it in the end.
Put the damn dolphins back in the ocean where they belong. They might be pissed that their quality of life has been deminished to satisfy the curiosity of and entertain humans. Disrepectful.
