The latter wins due to lack of the former.

There definitely are some good people working there.  There are also problems.  The "good people" tend to have no education, no experience and no influence.  The "program" itself is "bad" (it doesn't work and is demonstrably harmful) and "good" people who work in "bad" places become "bad" people.

No matter how much they may WANT to help the kids, the system is not set up to do that and anyone who works in the system applying the program to the kids is hurting the kids, not helping.

I like to think that during my time there, I was one of the good staff.  I guess we all want to think that, but in my heart, I believe it and I strived for it.

If all staff were well trained and the program was decent could a school like this succeed in helping kids? or is the general consensus that all schools should be closed period.
