Wasn't this guy at Atlanta Straight in the early 80s before Cincinnatti started???????? With Buttimer and Tilley? Seems like I remember this name. I was in Atlanta from 1982-1984...like 2 1/2 years. I know this guy must have been there. His name is so familiar!
Is this the guy whose wife stole or embezzled some money? Didn;t she work at a bank or something? Or was that one of the other executive staff wives?

He was Executive Director when I was in Cincy.....from late 84 to early 86....as far as I know he was there after I was gone too.
-
NCL,
So, then, ye would know what he looks like right?
Looks like ye and I may have a "church outing"
soon.
warm regards,

When a religion is good, I conceive it will support itself; and when it does not support itself, and God does not take care to support it so that its professors are obliged to call for help of the civil power, 'tis a sign, I apprehend, of its being a bad one.

Better yet, how about a speaking engagement to the entire congregation to spread our awareness about abusive, cult-like drug treatment programs in the Cincy area???
yeah, I remember what Jerry looked like, although I venture to guess he has cut that curly mop he had in the 80's so he might be hard to recognize....

Just FYI Jerry is the guy in the background in the green shirt, not the guy throwing the ball. He looks about the same, although he has gained some weight.
-
Don, If I wanted your feeble minded opinion I would have asked for it, considering ye dont even have balls enough to protest 10 min from your house in milford you woosy!

 Looks like Jerry musta cried to the heads over at CCC to delete the message boards pertaining to his posts. Maybe he didn't like what people that knew him before CCC had to say about him.
For some reason the link seems to be "troubled"
"An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.
Kinda reminds me of the DFAF message board when they shut it down to outside posters. So much for truthful dialog AKA 'rampant talkin out in group'...

Yeah, he was in Atlanta and then helped open up the Cincinnati hell-hole in January 82, then went back for a while to Atlanta a few months later. Then He came back to Cincinnati in Nov, 82 to be the Director for Several years. Don't know if he was around when Cincinnati closed or not.

Betty Rushing. Jerry Rushing directed Straight-Cincinnati. Ultimately state authorities closed that camp for criminal child abuse. Jerry Rushing's wife is named Betty. In 1987-1988 when Angela Lee was pushing cocaine in Florida and Ohio, Betty Rushing was VP of a commercial bank and a cocaine addict. She made a loan of $100,000 to someone who did not quality and did not pay it back on schedule. She says she did not know at the time that the mob in Florida was involved. She fled and was sought by the FBI. She was captured in Miami six months later and charged charged with 13 felony counts, each carrying up to 10 years in prison. She got a Presidential pardon and her record has been wiped clean. [Source: Business Men's Fellowship USA, Cincinnati-East Chapter, 2002 Meetings]
