Isabelle Zehnder, President of CAICA website is obtaining on-going complaints and is posting them on her website CAICA.
Some of these on-going complaints list minor children's full names and, their allegations (some graphic, some sexual).
Wouldn't it be best to have the names of these minor children blacked out?
This seems highly unfair to children who had no choice about being in a program in the first place, and probably weren't consulted about being part of a lawsuit either.
Ms. Zehnder was asked to protect these children's identity. Her reply was her attorney says what she is doing is OK.
Oh, her attorney SAID.

I was wondering what the beef was with CAICA. Now I get it. That's totally wrong, I dont' give a shit what her attorney says!! Hell, even news organizations dont' do that and they're "allowed" to too.

It seems to me Izzy is once again proving herself to be self interested to the point of idiocy.
The proverbial Bull in the China shop has more grace and consideration that this woman.
She barges in and make a mess of things and then wants to blame others for the mess she made.
This is just one more example.

CAICA has an agenda, and they feel the end justifies the means. Publishing names and unsettled claims is only one of their questionable tactics.
They list kids as dying at programs when they didn't. They just tack on a disclaimer that they THINK it's true--even though they've been informed otherwise (also no doubt on the advice of their lawyer). Even direct requests from the parents of those kids are ignored or ridiculed by CAICA.
Remember, all the CAICA folks are lawyers or paralegals. The question doesn't seem to be, "Is it right or wrong?" The question is, "Can we get away with it?"
As a non-profit, CAICA isn't supposed to engage in propaganda. Wonder how their lawyer makes that one OK?

Isabelle Zehnder asked me for a copy of the civil complaint filed against Whitmore and the Sudweeks. I declined this request.
I voiced my opinion about her, as President of CAICA posting these legal complaints on her website that identifies minor children's names.
She not only said her lawyer said what she was doing was just fine, she accused me of harrassment for voicing my opinion.
She sounds just like Sue Scheff.
If a parent complains---call out the lawyers.

Isabelle Zehnder also informed me that she is removing our statement about Whitmore Academy from her website.
I thought CAICA was suppose to fairly present all sides of an issue. This seems highly unfair on her part.
But, it is her little website.

Yes, I think a parent statement is always important - especially when talking about a program where the co-owner was charged with abuse and hazing. This is called building parent-awareness, something most child and parent advocates are dedicated to doing.
Where can we read your statement? Is it posted somewhere on this board? May it be printed elsewhere, with your permission?
Thanks!

The statement is listed on ISAC.

Double-standard?

No - it in no way compares with what IZZY has done on CaCa.
Those documents were posted at the family's request.
Izzy is not only ignoring the wishes of the Whitmore families - but attacking them for making the very reasonable and understandable request, that the court filings in this on going case, involving minor victims of abuse, be removed.
Izzy can sing and dance and "justify" all she wants - but I aint buying it - and I don't think many others are either.
That being said - I don't think we can expect anything better from her - given her history.

Posting minors' names is poor taste, unfair, and discourages others from coming forward. Newspapers conceal the names of alleged victims and confirmed victims, and other organizations should follow suit whether or not a court backs them up.
The public can hear the details using initials or a falsified name. There is no benefit to posting real names, so why is CAICA insisting on humiliating alleged abuse victims?
