Ok... having recently been exposed to program parents and all their seminar-speak... what does "4444's" mean?  They act like its some top-secret language and if they told you they'd have kill you.  Somebody help me with this.. please!

they have to replace everything with code language to help numb the mind...

4s are hugs 1,2,3's are other forms of affection or acknowledgement that arent as intimate.

So, after the seminar mindrape when youre having the nice big euphoric seratonin dump and its time for the 'love bomb' youre encouraged to hug everyone in sight for 2-5 minutes.

Emotionally ass-raped anyway

Two big circles are formed in the Discovery seminar.  You face a complete stranger, with some emotional music playing in the background.  You have to maintain eye contact with them for a lot longer than is comfortable.  (There are program parent volunteers lurking around making sure you do this correctly)  You hold your hand behind your back with a 1, 2, 3 or 4.  3 is a handshake, 4 a hug, can't remember the others, 1 may be turn your back, 2 just continue to stare.  At the time the leader says vote, you make your fingers visible to the person across from you in the circle.  Even a handshake is excruciating because it is way, way beyong the normal time you would shake someone's hand.  You continue around the circle until you've done this with most everyone in the room.  Oh, the person voting lowest # gets their pick.
