P, I don't know if I'd count on the right ppl finding this thread. Instead, I'd suggest you look around this forum and the WWASP forum for people who have been there.
From what I've heard, they won't allow any contact at all except by written letter sent through the parents and at the parents' discretion. If the parent won't allow it, then the only other option is legal coercion, and that always gets ugly; sometimes uglier than others. If you're a young person, understand that the WWASP programs are extremely biased against young kids, especially the friends of their charges. It might be best to approach someone w/ more suburban credentials, like teachers, counselors, adult relatives and such rather than hit them up yourself. Think of it as sort of an intervention; there's force in numbers and great value in having credible wittnesses. History gives us a kind of chart, and we dare not surrender even a small rushlight in the darkness. The hasty reformer who does not remember the past will find himself condemned to repeat it.
