Very strange. Same thing happened to a Kemper Alum forum back when Bob Litchfield and Randal Hinton were not partnering up to not turn the place into another not WWASP school. W/ flight training, no less, using Atkinson's (I think) puddle hoppers.
Funnier coincidence? Of all of the alum and cops and townspeople and media, there was only one really solid supporter of the deal going through. His name is Mark Farrell.

Can you not count? Marla's post was in February. The spam was in August, AFTER she had agreed to remove the post by court order. There was no reason to spam the board. None. If you don't have evidence shut the hell up.

Uh, Mr. Bruce? The internet service provider for North Georgia is based out of Little Rock Arkansas. If someone was in North Georgia posting it would show Little Rock as the location, not North Georgia. Show us a little more info next time please so you won't look like an idiot. And the spam being referenced came out of Japan, not North Georgia. Nice try though.

An IP address shows the location of the individual computer that made the post, not the ISP.
As to where the post referenced. I could right now talk about the weather in Alaska does that mean I'm there?

That's totally untrue. No matter where an ISP buys its bandwidth or in what state the vendor is located, the client has his local carrier. It would be totally abnormal for the scenario you describe to happen. Sorry, but this is false yet again.

If you look on the second one, it was requested to the web master to be taken off in August, on the 15th this year. She may have agreed to it then, but the order from the Lumpkin County Judge was sent to the Amazing Forums webmaster right around August 15th of this year. Once again, puppet, you are completely retarted. IP stands for Internet Protocol Address. Even if they "bought there bandwidth in Little Rock Arkansas" when you do an IP trace, it passes through stages called "hops" .. so if your in California tracing an IP to Arizona, you'd have to hop from gateway to gateway every server connecting each other from your personal computer in CA all the way to AZ, and there's a lot of linking gateways. Plus, "bandwidth" [the term] is a measure of speed. Last time I checked, I don't think you can purchase miles per hour, or any other speed measurement.

Ah, you forget details. Before they went to the trouble of looking up the nic contact info for Amazing Forums, they wasted time sending me certified mail w/ email backup demanding that I take down that post. I don't know how long it took them to get around to finding out who actually hosts that forum, or if they even went to the trouble. More likely, the hosting provider would throw that one post to the wolves rather than give up the identity of their paying customer.
So, what sort of gossip was making the rounds during that time? Shh? Ya' here? What kind of hate mongering was going on back in August about the evil, diabolical Amazing Forums who was being cagey and coy and intellectualizing about deleting that post that yenz dislike so much?
Think one of the over-zealous parents, kids or graduate staff or a graduate trying desperately to prove to their parents that they've had enough treatment might have taken it upon themselves, Timothy McVeigh or Eric Rudolph style, to boost the effort?

It won't be fun -- it'll be a walk in the park. When you change your IP address, your last section or last 2 only change (there are four secitons in an address, like this: 192.168.0.1 ) The first two will give away your location and your internet service provider. The only way to completely fool that is to log off where you are and drive or fly to another state on another state or region's internet and log on. Idiot.
