Thanks for the images, they aren't copyrighted or anything then and you own these images? I have received tons of positive encouragement from this forum which I must say is refreshing.
-
Im not sure about the copyright, I think they are from another anti-wwasp type website.
-
I think they are from Spring Creek Lodge - a wwasp program in Montana. The punishment cell
pictured is called the hobbit.Still, if you will not fight for the right when you can easily win without bloodshed; if you will not fight when your victory will be sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves.

Well I definitely know where those pictures came from (not to be an ass) because I attended spring creek for 12 months, but I need to know whether you own the photos or at least where they came from to be able to use them on my site. I don't steal copyrighted materials or other's property for my own purposes. -kev

The one at the top of the Hobbit is a personal photograph, not copy righted as far as I know. Its up various places on the web.
The others I am pretty sure come from the Desperate Measures articles. I don't know that that means they are copy righted - I don't think so.
I don't think there is any reason you couldn't use them if you want.
heres a link to the articles:
http://denver.rockymountainnews.com/des ... t-pg.shtml (http://denver.rockymountainnews.com/desperate/site-desperate/day2/2front-pg.shtml)
There is a lot of material here so click around.

Photos used by publications like rocky mountain news are copyrighted.
Perhaps it would be a good idea for you write to the editor and ask for permission to use the photos. Identify yourself, the purpose of your website and/as use of the requested copyright materials.
Usually they will grant permission (e.g.the photos you use would say "Used by Permission of the Rocky Mountain News").
Sometimes, especially in the case of free-lance photographers, the copyright is retained by the photographer, other times sold with the picture to the publication.
Hope this helps!

Juu-ju time boys and girls. That hold is a joke. Thats just asking for a blind leg sweep, a hip toss (which would be sooo easy, just quickly stand up and torque your body to the right while pulling your left elbow back, get your arm around his neck and base out, pivot and toss him over and land on top  Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

That really cant be a hold. I mean the guy has a free arm. Is it a hold Nihilanthic? You would know better than me. It more seems like a older guy escorting a younger guy around. That hold just seems to easy to get out of, even though I dont know Judo, I do know that a free hand while your holding some one, is not something you want.

It is Cameron Pullman showing the news crew how he safely restrains a child until they calm down. I can tell you, after witnessing with my own eyes, this is not even close to how it's done. They radio 4-5 big male staff to come and sit on you with your arm behind your back, it's very painful. A submission hold is what they use, not restraint.
-
Cameron was probably enjoying being behind him like that.

Thats not a restraint, I mean come on, if a kid was freaking out and some one grabed him he would hit him with everything he had, including his head. So a free arm is not a good thing I would think. Is it not obvious to the reporter taking the picture that its a load of shit?

I made some layout changes and added some new graphics at http://www.anti-wwasp.tk (http://www.anti-wwasp.tk) and a couple new user submitted articles. The forums over there are still fresh and just asking to be torn up with some posts, so get over there and say something.
Also I am currently looking for pictures that anyone own's themselves and that would be interested in contributing to the site. I really have a lack of real portrayals of these facilities. If you have any images of WWASP related facilities please post them here or send them to (antiwwasp@gmail.com) thanks.

I think there are some photos of Tranquility Bay over at isaccorp.org.
Otherwise, look into news archives to try to find photos.

Forum Guidelines
Please read the following rules and guidelines very carefully. By proceeding to post you agree to these guidelines and must obey them at all times. Refusal to obey these guidelines will result in the appropriate responsive actions.
Our Community Forums
We have implemented the following guide for using our community forums. This guide is designed to strike a balance between the main goal of our forums, providing support, and keeping the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for the user community.
We require all posts to be polite, constructive, and on topic.
All material posted or uploaded to the forum remains the property of the original poster and Anti-WWASP.tk, is the licensed distributor of such content. The administrators of this site reserve the right without notice to access or view all such material (including posts, profile information, emails sent through the forum software, and Personal Messages, to edit the subject of a post, or to move, reclassify, or delete any post or other material that is deemed inappropriate or disruptive, fails to conform to these forum rules, or to ensure proper indexing and searchability. Please note that, from time to time, topics may be removed for being inappropriate even though your individual post in that topic may have been perfectly fine. Please do not feel this reflects badly on you.
Having fun is good. We like fun. Please keep it positive and polite. We may take action against posts and/or topics that could cause unrest in the community beyond a civil and polite disagreement.
You may not make personal attacks on other users or staff members either in public forums or private messages.
You may not advertise or promote other companies or their products which may compete with those of anti-WWASP.
We reserve the right to ban any member who violates our guidelines or disrupts our community. We will be fair and provide warning in most cases.
If you have an issue concerning our services, policies, or staff, please use a personal contact method such as a private message or email to a staff member. We take serious complaints to heart and will do our best to address them.
12 Basic Rules:
1. Any impersonation of a user within these forums, in any mode of communication, is strictly prohibited and will result in a banning.
2. There will be no racial, ethnic, gender based insults or any other personal discriminations.
3. There will be no posts meant to offend or hurt any other member, in a manner which is offensive or inflammatory.
4. Spamming is not permitted; please keep all your posts as constructive as possible.
5. Pornography, warez, or any other illegal transactions may NOT be linked in any shape or form.
6. Users may not argue a moderators decision publicly. Any and all complaints directed at a moderator must first address the moderator in question via PM. If the problem can not be resolved, then the moderator and user must send their positions to the forum admin. The forum admin will make or change any and/or all final decisions.
7. Pictures may be posted as long as they are not explicit or offensive. If you plan to post more than one image, or the topic is based on graphics, please link the images rather than screening.
8. Please also try and keep text signatures under 5 lines. Failing to comply with a moderator's request will result in the removal of your signature.
9. Advertising, commercial-related or competing products are all forbidden in any relation to your account except by explicit permission
10. Remember to post in the correct forum. Take your time to look at other topics and see where your topic should go. If your topic is placed in the wrong forum, it will be moved by a moderator.
11. If a topic is recognized as being posted in the wrong forum, or if the post is a violation of our guidelines then please contact a moderator either via PM or the 'report post to moderator' feature; please do not respond publicly to the member - a member of staff will do what is required upon contact. Any person/s who attempt to present themselves as a Moderator by posting negatively to a member's topic (which has been posted in error and requires locking or moving to another forum) will be sent a PM warning and placed into moderation queue upon further actions.
12. If you are linking to external content, you should link directly to that content. It is unacceptable to use link-thru systems to mask the originating URL, and cases where this is found to be happening may be edited or removed as appropriate.
Violation of any of these rules will result in consequences determined on a case-by-case basis.
Thank you for visiting the anti-WWASP's forums and we hope you enjoy your stay.

are you kidding me, with all those rules?
good luck enforcing them. good luck finding people to post on your threads that have been through hell and now you are concerned with their civility? how about being concerned with people having some freedom to speak! well they won't get it here, that's for sure! no public disagreement with the moderator? what, did you go to some fascist training camp?

Where did the last post come from?
-
Those are pretty standard rules for internet forums.
I'm glad there are forums where these issues can be debated with out quite the same level of "freedom" found on Fornits. People do abuse it - and others won't even read or seriously consider anything found here as a result.
Each has its place in the grand scheme of things and there is no point complaining about either format.

So yeah to address the state of Prosser these days, it's still small, it smells when you drive through there from all the feedlots, and I haven't heard anything about that place for years. Does it still exist?
Anyways I made some changes to the site and took down all those rules and guidelines so it's all open discussion, well besides pro-wwasp stuff of course, (I have heard) their boards censor us so I will do the same. So the new url is http://www.antiwwasp.com (http://www.antiwwasp.com) for all those interested. Chatroom is on the way within a week I hope.
