Anyway,
I was on the trip to the movies when Dawn split. She was in re-entry at the time, and I was coor or something so I didn't even think about "watching" her or whatever. Later, after we realized she was gone after searching the entire theatre, one of the girls said that she had seen Dawn with a toothbrush in her pocket and thought it was odd but she was RE-ENTRY when she split that is the most awful thing about it. I think about her often still, feeling slight guilt for something that was not my fault. She was a beautiful person. On the first night I got to Elan, she was pulling on the post and everyone was up talking at 3AM. Anyway I just remember that she made me laugh in spite of everything. That motherfucker who did this to her and others deserves the worst penalty possible.
DAWN- You are NOT forgotten.

I arrived at Elan about six months after Dawn was killed. Everyone still remembered her. And it's important to those who loved her to keep her memory alive.

And yes, I post anonymously, because people attack other people's characters on here. These people ought to be locked in Port-a-Johns that are then set on fire.

I just dont like the fact that he wont admit that Elan was a cruel place.
He seems proud that he participated in the abuse of other kids.

Elan emotionally tormented many kids and there was never any real therapy to help people.
What if a kid was fucked in the head from being severly abused by his parents? I don't mean no tv for a week.
I mean sexual abuse, putting out lit cigars on their skin, ect. Where was the actuall help for said person?

THIS IS WHERE I STAND.I GRADUATED IN 1992 AND 14 YEARS LATER I HAVE NO PROBLEMS WITH THE PLACE,I WOULD LOVE TO SEE MY OLD FRIENDS AND INTRODUCE THEM TO MY SONS AND WIFE.TALK ABOUT THOSE DAYS AND CALL IT A NIGHT. He WAS in need of serious psychiatric help and medications. He was obviously ADHD among other things....
Elan failed him. There should of been a psychiatrist there to evaluate kids like him. The obviously mentally ill.
Maybe if they put them on a drug like Paxil or Seroquel or Ritalin they could of/would of done 100 times better.
A real mental illness can not be faked. Left untreated it worsens.
Treating a genuine mental illness with "Concept therapy" does not help. It makes it worse.
