HI I'm Evgeni Nikolov. I was one of Dustin Kava's best friends. This riot was planned for about a month. We wanted to stop the control!!! Me, Dustin, James Abrahamson, Colt Norville, Quintan and Spagnolli started the riot dustin was fliping out upstairs and the rest of us were doing the job downstairs. After that we went to the kitchen and broke everything. After that me Dustin, Ryan, James, went to the new gym and i pulled the other fire alarm, so the magnetic doors opened and we ran outside. I ran about 3 miles barefoot, becauze i was on run watch. That was the best think that ever happened to me in my whole entire life!!! I think that Dustin is now in jail i think i can't get in touch with him. If someone finds him please tell him to write to me at bgmedia_org@yahoo.com
LIBERTY FOR ALL!!!!!

You all did a great job. Hopefully, this will draw attention to what's really going on in WWASP's gulags, and Ivy Ridge (as well as the other gulags) will be shut down soon.

Great! Thanks for posting here. We're all wondering and worrying. Where are you now? Are you OK? I hear one kid is still in St. Lawrence jail and the rest are out. What happened to them? Did they get sent down to Jamaica?
say what you will about the sweet miracle of unquestioning faith, I consider a capacity for it terrifying and absolutely vile.

THIS SHOULD BE A RALLYING CRY TO ALL IMPRISONED TEENS IN WWASP FACILITIES

You don't have a peaceful revolution. You don't have a turn-the-other-cheek revolution. There's no such thing as a nonviolent revolution. Revolution is bloody. Revolution is hostile. Revolution knows no compromise. Revolution overturns and destroys everything that gets in its way.

Just a question Evegeni? Are you doing well now or have you gone right back to the things you were doing to be sent away?

Or both?

Or Both? One does not go with the other.
He either had a wake up call or not.

Oh, so then you knew this kid before he arrived at AIR? Or are you just talking out your ass, as usual?
Hear me people: We now have to deal with another race - small and feeble when our fathers first met them, but now great and overbearing. Strangely enough they have a mind to till the soil and the love of possessions is a disease with them. These people have made many rules which the rich may break but the poor may not. They take their tithes from the poor and weak to support the rich and those who rule.

that is a righteous thing to say in so many ways. these kids who rioted, they saw through the lies! these are smart kids and i am REAL proud of them!

And some might be in jail already, if they had not been there.
-
Might have. But we'll never know because their whacked out parents never vested enough faith in them to let them realize the consequences of their own actions. When they couldn't get them arrested, diagnosed, drugged and treated by normal professionals and members of the community, they went over our heads and found some magic bean salesmen to take their money and tell them what they wanted to hear.
Sick bastards you are, all of you.Republican n. A liberty despising, money worshiping, control freak. Democrat n. A liberty despising, social engineering, control freak.

I forgot, some might have been arrested before they got to ivy ridge also. So same cycle.

You guys are a bunch of idiots, it is so simple just to work and get out and enjoy the rewards of graduating, it is so much simpler and you actually get rewards instead of punishments. Oh well, if u want to fuck up ur life go ahead, ive learned

:wstupid: The kid who rioted is OUT. How long did it take you to get out?

The rewards of "working the program"? What reward? Having your mind re-wired, turning into a WWASPie zombie, losing your individuality and your critical thinking skills... thanks, but no thanks.

who will have a better future though asswhole.

Way to go! Best news Ive heard since I graduated from SCL in 2003. Oh yea, and also the news about how Spring Creek Lodge got sued 6 times in the last year. WWASP needs to be shut down, I and support any effort to do so.

I have all the respect for what you and the other guys did. It takes bravery and real inner strength to stand up like that, and I think it's just amazing. Revolution happens spontaneously, but not without a spark. It it?s just so inspiring to know that the passion of youth is still alive in a prison society. I was in Provo Canyon School for half a year and only fantasized about doing what you did. But I was only 15, and had not idea what the fuck was going on. Now I'm 21, I'm wiser, and I can tell you that you definitely did the right thing. Never doubt that. You not only took a stand for kids in lockdown, you took a stand for human rights, and you drew attention to a terrible injustice that has been allow to operate for too long. I support you and the other guys 100% and I thank you.

Well, in all reality, probably the kid who kept his own mind and stood up for what was right will have the much better future. -- So many people I knew who were kids in the program, either got out early or graduated, before going back to what they were doing before they were interupted, ended up as total successes. They may have taken the long way around due to being put in the program, but they still ended up right where they were supposed to be. The other ones, the students who graduated, and kept their brainwashed mind-set, usually ended up dead by suicide, in jail because of murder (usually they murder a parent, go figure), or insane because they are and were crazy in the first place. If these brainwashed graduates manage to stay out of serious trouble, many of them experience failed relationships with spouses, children and co-workers, because they don't know how to relate to real people in the real world.
What a lonely existence.
I hope that answers your question.
-
It answers it only in your opinion. Mine is the opposite. The one that gets his act together faster will have the better future. The kid that started this post is definetly behind in school, proven by his post "I'm one of the kids who made the riot" It's sad thet he writes like that.
I hope Evegeni keeps it together and gets a diploma. Good luck.

Many kids in the programs are very behind in school because of the program.
It (the Bible) is full of interest. It has noble poetry in it; and some clever fables; and some blood-drenched history; and some good morals; and a wealth of obscenity; and upwards of a thousand lies.

Most people write badly. Especially when they don't think a particular piece is important enough to take the time to proofread.
I'm a professional writer. Actually, I'm a New York Times bestselling author. (My book hit 31 on one of the NYT fiction lists for a week before dropping back off, but apparently getting there at all is the thing.)
I don't bother to proofread what I write on Fornits. I like you folks, but I'm not getting paid for this and most people aren't anal-retentive enough to care, anyway.
I've had good friends, at different times, work as instructors at Clark Atlanta University. Once, I got to read through a stack of essays written by the college students--college seniors, iirc--and they were every bit as bad as the posting you're talking about.
There is a reason very few people can sell what they write.
However, you're jumping to conclusions when you assume the teen who made that posting is "behind in school." Maybe he is, maybe he isn't. Some people have neurological learning disabilities that prevent them from acquiring certain skills even though they can keep up with no problem in other subject areas. Frequently, when that happens, the person with the LD just acquires a technological assistance device that does for them the particular task their neurological damage prevents them from doing for themselves.
We don't blame someone who's blind for needing a guide dog. We don't blame someone who's hard of hearing for needing a hearing aid. There's no reason to blame a dyslexic for needing a spell-checker, or a dysgraphic for needing a computer and printer, or someone with discalculia for needing a calculator.
We don't want people who *can* do those things to use technological devices as a crutch. But for people whose problems are neurological, TA devices can make the difference between a productive life at their highest potential versus stagnating in a dead end job far below their capabilities.
Since many of these problems are in the frontal lobes, and the frontal lobes don't finish developing until a person is in his twenties, many teens with learning disabilities who *do* go on to be able to learn these tasks and function without TA devices--but only after their frontal lobes develop to the point that their previously insurmountable neurological problem becomes manageable.
This is probably part of the reason why many people's writing abilities improve by leaps and bounds in college remedial English classes. Their base ability to handle the material has improved.
Perhaps the teen you're talking about is simply "behind" rather than learning disabled. But you don't know that and you should have asked first instead of jumping to conclusions.
Failing that, if you're going to flame someone else's spelling and grammar, you really should proofread your own post. It's "definitely."

Okay, if we're all going to proofread---just mentally delete "who" in the fourth paragraph from the bottom.

You are wierd :???:

Yeah, but that doesn't mean I'm not right.
And *you* are really rude. Not so much to me, as to the person whose writing you made assumptions about (if you're the same anon).
A lot of the kids who get sent to Programs have ADHD. ADHD is almost universally associated with a lesion on the specific part of the patient's frontal lobe.
Frequently that lesion is not the only lesion, or extends beyond the specific area that appears to be instrumental in the development of ADHD.
Since many learning disabilities also involve abnormalities of the frontal lobe, it isn't suprising at all that people diagnosed ADHD have a very high rate of comorbid learning disabilities.
That means that it's much more likely that the kid who posted about the riot has a learning disability, whether it's been diagnosed or not, than a random teenager picked out of your local high school.
I know all this because I have a degree in Psychology, focused on research, from a top ten public engineering and sciences university. I also have a child with special needs. So I keep up with the research a lot more than the vast majority of people.
So your particular problem is not my "weirdness" (by the way, you misspelled "weird"), it's that I know a lot more about writing than you do, and I know a lot more about learning disabilities than you do, and (as a homeschooling mom) I know a lot more about education than you do.
Your problem is not my "weirdness" but that you just happened to pick subjects I'm expert on, and were probably overwhelmed by the information.
Any time you see someone with really bad writing or spelling, especially if you see it on the internet, it's really rude to start criticizing them without finding out whether the person either has a learning disability, or has learned English as a second language.
In this case, a learning disability is a lot more likely than English as a second language.
You should have asked first instead of jumping to conclusions.
I'd rather be weird than rude.
Timoclea
(Not that I'm always polite, but I usually try to be.)
-
I know the kid who made the post personally. I KNOW he is BEHIND in school (if I could write it with bigger letters, I would have). And no - he does not have learning disabilities, English is his second language.
-
Well, if he's English as a second language, then you knew before you said it that his post *didn't* prove being "behind"---except in the sense that his English isn't perfect.
If you knew he was behind not from his post but because you know him, you could have avoided the whole thing just by *saying* you know him. Or did I miss something?
It's really hard to tell who knows who when everyone is anonymous. Pick a screen name, for goodness' sakes.
Out of the kids I went to school with, being "behind" in school was not what made them or sunk them. It was whether they kept trying, or gave up. The only way to fail in this life is to quit. Life isn't a race to see who can get the most toys or credits the fastest.
I knew kids who didn't do so well in school who played to their strengths and their own special talents and did fairly well in life.
This hits me personally because my kid has special needs and a lot of kids with the same thing she's got get "behind" in school.
So what if it takes them two extra years to finish their high school material? If they're doing their best, at least they've learned it.
I don't know if Evegeni (sp?) is doing his best in his schoolwork or not. I know a lot of times a kid *is* doing his best, and the adults around him think he's not because they don't have to walk in his shoes.
Your post came across as snippy, and it punched my buttons. Maybe that's just the internet and if I'd been talking to you in person where I could see facial cues you would have come across differently. I don't know.
I think being "behind" or "ahead" doesn't matter as much as whether you're doing your best now, and will continue to do your best tomorrow.
Getting where you want to go in life is all about never giving up.
