For those of you who believe the UN is a relavant entity, read the article on this link. Seems like the New World Order crowd are insistant on taking more of our Dollars to line their already full pockets.

Tacitus' Realm / Interesting about Kerry and his supporters
« on: August 27, 2004, 02:29:00 PM »
Kim Jong Il, the communist dictator of North Korea, broadcasts Kerry?s speeches on Radio Pyongyang along with his glowing commentary.

Jean Bertrand-Aristide, Haiti's ousted dictator. Kerry told the New York Times he would have intervened to keep Aristide in power.

Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, Spain?s new anti-war socialist prime minister, has endorsed John Kerry for president.

Mahathir Mohamad, former prime minister of Malaysia, said, "I think Kerry would be much more willing to listen to the voices of people and of the rest of the world."  Mahathir is a renowned anti-Semite.

Yasser Arafat, whom John Kerry described as a "statesman" and a "role model" in his 1997 book, "The New War."

Presumably Hugo Chavez, the Venezuelan dictator, who opposes President Bush, and Fidel Castro, whom Kerry has openly praised, are both Kerry boosters ? Kerry won?t say.

Subject: Lance Armstrong stripped of title

Lance Armstrong to be Stripped of Sixth Tour de France Title

CNN is reporting that Lance Armstrong may be stripped of his 6th Tour
de France title.

In a random check for banned substances, three were found in
Armstrong's
hotel room.  The substances banned by the French that were found in his
hotel room were: Toothpaste, Deodorant, and Soap.

In further personal inspection of Armstrong, the French officials also
found
several other items which they had never seen before, including a
testicle
and a backbone...

Earlier reports that French Government officials attempted to surrender
to Armstrong as he entered Paris were apparently erroneous.

GET A BILL STARTED TO PLACE ALL POLITICIANS ON SOC. SEC.

2004 Election Issue!!

This must be an issue in "2004". Please! Keep it going.

    ----------------------------------

    SOCIAL SECURITY:

(This is worth reading. It is short and to the point.)

Perhaps we are asking the wrong questions during election years.

Our Senators and Congresswomen do not pay into Social Security and, of course, they do not collect from it.

You see, Social Security benefits were not suitable for persons of their rare elevation in society. They felt they should have a special plan for themselves. So, many years ago they voted in their own

    benefit plan.

In more recent years, no congress person has felt the need to change it. After all, it is a great plan.

For all practical purposes their plan works like this:

When they retire, they continue to draw the same pay until they die.

Except it may increase from time to time for cost of living adjustments.

For example, former Senator Byrd and Congressman White and their wives may expect to draw $7,800,000.00 (that's Seven Million, Eight-Hundred Thousand Dollars), with their wives drawing $275,000.00 during the last years of their lives.

This is calculated on an average life span for each of those two Dignitaries.

Younger Dignitaries who retire at an early age, will receive much more during the rest of their lives.

Their cost for this excellent plan is $0.00. NADA....ZILCH...

    This little perk they voted for themselves is free to them. You and I pick up the tab for this plan The funds for this fine retirement plan come directly from the General Funds;

    "OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK"!

From our own Social Security Plan, which you and I pay (or have paid) into, -every payday until we retire (which amount is matched by our employer)- we can expect to get an average of $1,000 per month after retirement.

Or, in other words, we would have to collect our average of $1,000 monthly benefits for 68 years and one (1) month to equal Senator Bill Bradley's benefits!

Social Security could be very good if only one small change were made.

That change would be to jerk the Golden Fleece Retirement Plan from under the Senators and Congressmen. Put them into the Social Security plan with the rest of us ... then sit back and watch how fast they would fix it.

If enough people receive this, maybe a seed of awareness will be planted and maybe good changes will evolve.

How many people can YOU send this to?

Keep this going clear up thru the 2004 election!!  We need to be heard

Tacitus' Realm / Senator Tom Harkin
« on: August 19, 2004, 10:26:00 AM »

Harkin Lied About Vietnam War Record

Sen. Tom Harkin, who called Vice President Dick Cheney a "coward" on Tuesday for not serving in Vietnam, has been exposed for lying about his own Vietnam service - or, rather, lack thereof.

"Senator Harkin is a proven fabricator when it comes to his own Vietnam-era record," reports the Wall Street Journal in Thursday editions.

Revisiting its own 1979 report on the tart-tongued Iowa Democrat, the Journal notes:

"In 1979, Mr. Harkin, then a congressman, participated in a round-table discussion arranged by the Congressional Vietnam Veterans' Caucus. 'I spent five years as a Navy pilot, starting in November of 1962,' Mr. Harkin said at that meeting, in words that were later quoted in a book, Changing of the Guard, by Washington Post political writer David Broder. 'One year was in Vietnam. I was flying F-4s and F-8s on combat air patrols and photo-reconnaissance support missions. I did no bombing.'"

The Journal continues:

"That clearly is not an accurate picture of his Navy service. . . . Mr. Harkin's Navy record shows his only decoration is the National Defense Service Medal, awarded to everyone on active service during those years. He did not receive either the Vietnam Service medal or the Vietnam Campaign medal, the decorations given to everyone who served in the Southeast Asia theater."

"It turned out Mr. Harkin had not seen combat and was stationed in Japan."

In fact, rather than doing his part to beat back global Communism, Harkin was actually an aider and abettor to Moscow's cause.

Unnoted in today's Journal report; in 1986 Harkin famously traveled to Managua, Nicaragua to assure Fidel Castro's proxy Daniel Ortega that Senate Democrats were working overtime to thwart President Reagan's efforts to bring Democracy to the region.

With him on the mission - fellow peacenik Sen. John Kerry.

Man I am sick of all of these idiots on the hill making issues of their Vietnam record, they are all full of shit, Dubya...well he dissapears, Kerry 2 out of three purple hearts were bullshit and he only spent a few months in country anyway 3 months which should have been a 12 month tour, Harkin falsifies his record, Dick Cheney..well defferment yeah thats what happens when your come from a family with a lot of doe you are above the rest of us working stiffs. I imagine at that time he was being schooled to rip off retirement accounts of the working class. Shit will the real vietnam heros standup please....Tom McCain...the rest of you idiots need to have a seat and shut the F@#$ up.....give me a break please.

Tacitus' Realm / Global Warming Just for you Deborah
« on: August 16, 2004, 03:53:00 PM »
I don't know about where the rest of you live , but in Illinois it has been in the 40's at night IN AUGUST some trees are already starting to turn. I was in Dallas last week it averaged 80 degrees, usually 100 this time of year. So much for Global warming. I am ready for the flames from you whacked out ,save the whale types on this one but who gives a shit hear it Goes I am always up for good debate or to instigate and watch the shit hit the fan. I know you will love this one Deb. Bring It I know you are standing by with your BullShit stats from the Kyoto treaty(which in my uneducated opinion is a complete snow job)

Yes, Global Warming, as it is being promoted, is a complete joke, the whole idea that puny little man, can have any effect on Earth's biosphere is so patently absurd. It may be getting warmer, but ONE volcano can spew out 20 years of exhaust in one month, consider this: every single dirt clod on this planet is a by product of volcanic activity, all the mountains, also all the valleys, to the bottom of the sea, every bit of it was formed from boiling liquid rock, coming from inside the liquid core. If the greenhouse effect could destroy life on Earth, I think it would have done it by now... in fact, I'm sure it has many times. This planet has been hit from space by burning rock, too. Consider the lowest point on the Earth's surface, The Dead Sea. It didn't get there by water running downhill. Something had to smack it down from above. I'm sure mankind will never come close to the carbon based fuel exhaust put out by that blast, and that's only one of many. But, it gets worse. Not only is every speck of rock and dirt the product of complete meltdown, all the air comes from the same place. So how did all this rock get here anyway? Debris from the REAL nuclear world... STARS. Every molecule of every speck of molten rock on Earth is the direct byproduct of interstellar nuclear fusion, the likes of which we can't even imagine. Take the biggest H-bomb ever imagined, then multiply that times a number higher than any number we've ever conceived of, and that's how much every molecule on this planet has been subjected to. THAT'S HOW IT GOT HERE. That's where "here" came from. Not just "here"... ALL "HERE'S" EVERYWHERE. So, if all this unimaginable nuclear activity on a vast scale produced this planet, AND LIFE ITSELF, then how could the pitiful activities of mankind put any dent in it at all? The only danger we face is from our own stupidity, our obsession to be totally full of corny-ass BULLSHIT, spoon fed to us by a box with light and sound coming out, we look to the box to tell us what to think, since its way too hard to just look around and use common sense.

, most "science" is just a scam to keep us enslaved in our brains, a crude, half-assed attempt to keep us from thinking our own thoughts, going from point A, to point B, and all the way to Z. Most of the available energy is going to waste anyway, in the form of raw sunlight, the Earth's magnetic field, and wack-ass politicians, lying into microphones all day long. Look how much lightening there is all over the world every day. Only a liberal nazi like Al Gore would think mankind's rinky dinky power systems can even begin to influence a system as large and rugged as a planet. Absurd delusions of grandeur, just a miniscule puff of hot air,  Leave that kind of idiocy to religion, where it belongs. The government should concern itself with MONEY, not totalitarian tree-hugger policies from the insane asylum. If science needs a good project, why not figure out what that big yellow sun is up to? It seems to be rather warm, globally speaking. The Earth is a tiny speck compared to one solar flare of one sunspot, which is a burst of liquid fire, 100's of 1000's of miles high, spewed by gravitational flux and the sun's internal magnetism rubbing ultra-violent nuclear elbows...

June 19th we dedicated a War Memorial on the property of the company I work for. The Memorial is for our fallen heros in all the middle eastern conflicts from Beirut to present. It was a awsome event with over 18,000 bikers that converged on the small town of Marseilles Illinois pop 5000 to pay tribute to our fallen heros. It was truely an amazing event. The first photo is of main street, nothing but bikes filled the entire street and side streets. Bikers came from all over the mid west. Michigan, Indiana, Iowa , Illinois , Kentucky. Missouri.

n true Marxist fashion, the report of the UN "Habitat I" Conference declares that private land ownership "contributes to social injustice.... Public control of land use is therefore indispensable...." Agenda 21, the UN's massive environmental manifesto, envisions a UN empowered to control and micro-manage our planetary environment and the actions of every person on Earth. It says: "All countries should undertake a comprehensive national inventory of their land resources" and "develop national land-management plans." The UN's Assessment would "reallocate" property rights and have "stakeholder groups," instead of property owners, make decisions on private land use.

About 300 U.S. Marines stationed at Twenty-Nine Palms, California, got a reality check in 1994 when they were required to participate in a "Combat Arms Survey" asking how they felt about statements such as:

        * "[T]he President of the United States has the authority to pass his responsibilities as Commander-in-Chief to the UN Secretary General";
        * "I would swear to the following code: 'I am a United Nations fighting person...'"; and
        * "I would fire upon U.S. citizens who refuse or resist confiscation of firearms banned by the U.S. government."
